Today isn’t about perfect tables or picture-ready gratitude.
It’s about truth.
Your truth.
Because if we’re being honest, this year has been a damn storm for a lot of us.
Some days you were the river — steady, flowing, certain.
Other days you were the rapids — overwhelmed, slammed against the edges, barely keeping your head above water.
And you know what?
You still showed up.
Messy. Human. Honest.
That counts more than anything on the table today.
I’m not here to preach surface-level gratitude.
I’m here to honor the kind that feels real — the kind you earn through sweat, tears, and choosing yourself when it would’ve been easier not to.
So here’s what I’m grateful for today:
For the mind that finally stopped fighting me and started telling me the truth.
For the body that carried me through s**t it didn’t ask for.
For the parts of me that once felt like a burden but were really just exhausted protectors.
For the people who stayed. For the ones who left. For the lessons each brought.
For every moment I could’ve shut down but didn’t.
And if you’re reading this, I’m grateful for you.
For your commitment to yourself.
For doing the work that no one sees.
For healing the excuses instead of repeating them.
For refusing to settle for a life half-lived.
You hold all the control, so act like it.
Not just today — every damn day.
Heal the mind. Honor the body. Reconnect the self.
That’s gratitude you can actually feel in your bones.
Happy Thanksgiving, from my messy, honest, healing life to yours.
