Volunteer your time and join AORN of The San Francisco Bay Area members as we help sort surplus fresh food from local grocers, retailers, and farmers markets, restaurants, and wholesalers to be delivered on the same day to dozens of organizations serving those in need in Contra Costa County.

To date the Food Rescue Program at White Pony Express has delivered over 30 million pounds of nutritious, fresh food that would otherwise have gone to waste. That's the equivalent of over 25 million meals for our community.

This is a chance to meet and network with your colleagues as you enjoy some exercise and fresh air.

Chapter Interim Treasurer, Joy Chau, RN will lead the hike.

Length: 3 miles
Type: Loop
Difficulty: easy, fully-paved trail
Elevation gain: 170 feet
