One of the biggest changes for people living with diabetes has been Medicare's coverage of Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs).

Instead of relying only on finger sticks, many Medicare beneficiaries who use insulin can now qualify for a CGM. These devices provide glucose readings 24 hours a day, alert you to dangerous highs and lows, and give you and your doctor valuable information to help improve your diabetes management.

A CGM has changed my life. It has made me safer, given me more confidence, and helped me better understand how food, exercise, and insulin affect my blood sugar.

If you're on Medicare and use insulin, ask your doctor if you qualify. It could be one of the best diabetes tools you'll ever have.

Go see your doctor and talk to him about a pre-authorization form in order to receive a CGM. Do this.

Education is medicine.

The 2024 Runniversary is on Saturday August 10, 2024. It includes the following events: 5k and 10k.

Good evening. We want to apologize for all the confusion.

We have canceled this 5K. ESPN Savannah has been sold and this page is transitioning to the Talki Foundation 5K.

We are going to execute refunds next week.

We rely on this 5K for funding for insulin purchase. We are disappointed we're canceling but we're going to reschedule for in the spring.
