Prepare a meal with this nutrient rich herb root😋

Burdock Root Stir-Fry Recipe 🍛

Ingredients:

• 2 cups burdock root, julienned
• 1 cup carrots, julienned
• 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
• 1 cup broccoli florets
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 tablespoons soy sauce
• 1 tablespoon sesame oil
• 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
• 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
• 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
• 1 tablespoon honey
• Sesame seeds for garnish
• Green onions, chopped (optional)

Instructions:

1. Prepare Burdock Root:

Peel and julienne the burdock root. Soak it in cold water for about 10 minutes to reduce bitterness.

2. Vegetable Prep:

Julienne carrots, slice bell peppers, and chop broccoli into small florets.

3. Stir-Fry:

Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

4. Add Vegetables:

Add julienned burdock root, carrots, bell peppers, and broccoli to the wok. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.

5. Sauce Time:

In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and honey.

Pour the sauce over the vegetables and toss well to coat.

6. Final Touch:

Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through and coated in the sauce.

7. Serve:

Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired.
