Mickve Israel's special exhibit, "America250," celebrates the 250th anniversary of The Declaration of Independence and religious liberty in Savannah, a city steeped in history and culture. This extraordinary exhibit is a must-visit for anyone interested in learning more about the significance of this pivotal location and moment in American history. Residents enjoyed a comprehensive tour led by a very knowledgeable docent, who shared fascinating insights and anecdotes about the exhibit's artifacts and displays. The tour was followed by lunch in Downtown Savannah, where the beautiful architecture and charming atmosphere added to the overall experience. The history and beauty of Mickve Israel was truly awe-inspiring, with its stunning stained-glass windows, intricate woodwork, and serene atmosphere.
