🌞When patients walk through our doors, Leah Amdall is often the first person they see. She’s ready to listen and greets them with her classic smile. With more than 30 years in customer service and a genuine love for people, Leah brings something special to her role as a patient access representative. She handles registration, insurance eligibility, check-in/out and scheduling. What truly sets her apart is the way she makes each patient feel welcome.
“I love hearing about patients’ lives and experiences,” Leah says. “I feel honored when patients share their recipes, memories and jokes because those are pieces of who they are.”
A graduate of the University of Maine Augusta, Leah has called the 🌴Savannah area home for about a year, the same amount of time she’s worked at the clinic. In that short time, she’s already made a lasting impact.
Leah believes great care starts with trust. “We meet patients where they are and build trust by providing a safe place to share concerns, goals and successes.” 💞
Her favorite part of the day is helping people feel comfortable coming to the doctor. “I love laughter and fun,” she says. “It's nice to share that joy with patients and coworkers.”
