Let’s be real for a second. We spend way too much time picking ourselves apart. We stare in the mirror and focus on the things we want to change, the scars, or the so-called "flaws." But what if we flipped the script? What if we started treating our bodies like the absolute miracles they are, instead of projects that constantly need fixing?

For me, getting a tattoo is one of the most grounding acts of self-love there is. It’s not just about looking cool (though that’s a nice bonus). It’s about reclaiming your space. When you sit in that chair, taking a deep breath as the machine starts buzzing, you are actively choosing to celebrate the vessel that carries you through this crazy life.

Your body has shown up for you through every tough day, every heartbreak, and every single win. It deserves your grace, your kindness, and maybe a really badass piece of art to remind you of that.

You are allowed to take up space. You are allowed to decorate it.
