Celebrated National Cinema Day the best way we know how. Residents watched the Wizard of Oz and had popcorn. Watching the movie brought back memories for a lot of the residents. Such a fun way to celebrate this national day.

We truly appreciate our volunteers! Vickey and Joel always bring us beautiful music and messages. Liz, with Bridge Hospice, continues to bring us her joyous voice. Toki and Robin, also with Bridge Hospice, brings all the smiles and puppy kisses. We are so thankful for these wonderful people sharing their time with us.

BINGO!!!!!!!

Playing bingo helps us keep our minds sharp....we also might giggle a lot during bingo as well. One thing we did learn today is that bingo and cupcakes don't make the best mix so we had to take a little pause to eat our cupcakes from Bridge Hospice for our birthday celebration.

Really had to use our minds and our muscles for today's craft. We used our muscles to squeeze the sand bottles and we used our minds to think about what colors we wanted to use. Our sand art pieces turned out beautiful and they were so fun to make.

Have you met Chef Kendrick? He is our Dietary Supervisor and makes some delicious and nutritious meals for our residents. When Kendrick is not in the kitchen he is making others laugh and talking with the residents. You know he is here if you hear island music coming from the kitchen.
