The removal of Black communal resources isn’t just an infrastructure issue or an economic issue, it can also negatively affect mental health.

Eliminating resources often means removing spaces and connections that enable psychological wellness. Whether we realize or not, safe spaces are responsible for:

🔺 Lowering anxiety and hypervigilance
🔺 Decreasing emotional suppression
🔺 Improving emotional regulation
🔺 Reducing feelings of loneliness
🔺 Creating a sense of calm and belonging

In the Black community specifically, they are also a place for strengthening resilience, identity, and hope. Our team of professionals is restoring safe spaces for Black men.
