🎓 Congratulations to Samuel, recipient of Robbie Foundation’s 2026 Academic Scholarship Award!

This fall, Samuel will attend the University of Southern Maine to pursue a degree in Information Technology.

Throughout high school, he was involved in chorus, band, and chess while also developing his talents in networking, computer repair, and clock restoration. His determination, attention to detail, and strong work ethic have helped him overcome challenges and pursue his passion for technology.

We are proud to award Samuel $2,000 toward his tuition and look forward to seeing all he accomplishes at USM. ⭐

Congratulations, Samuel! 👏🏼

Therapy wedges are supportive tools that help children with disabilities improve posture, balance, and body positioning during play, learning, and therapy activities. By promoting better alignment and core engagement, wedges can make everyday tasks more comfortable and accessible while supporting motor development, sensory regulation, and participation in activities with greater confidence and independence.

At Robbie Foundation, we’re excited to introduce our community to Play Warriors, a compassionate therapy practice dedicated to supporting children and families. ⭐ Their Child Life Therapy program offers specialized support to help children better understand and cope with life’s challenges in a safe, nurturing way.

What Is Child Life Therapy? 🤔

Child Life Therapy helps children and families cope with stressful or challenging life experiences, like illness, loss, trauma, or major life changes.

How it helps:
-Supports emotional well-being during difficult times
-Reduces fear, confusion, and anxiety
-Promotes healthy development and resilience
-Encourages expression through play and communication

Areas of support include:
-Grief and loss
-Medical experiences or diagnoses
-Stress and trauma
-Life transitions and behavioral challenges (e.g., anxiety, ADHD, autism, family changes)

Through guidance, play, and education, Child Life Therapy helps children feel understood, supported, and better equipped to navigate life’s challenges.
