At Robbie Foundation, we’re excited to introduce our community to Play Warriors, a compassionate therapy practice dedicated to supporting children and families. ⭐ Their Child Life Therapy program offers specialized support to help children better understand and cope with life’s challenges in a safe, nurturing way.

What Is Child Life Therapy? 🤔

Child Life Therapy helps children and families cope with stressful or challenging life experiences, like illness, loss, trauma, or major life changes.

How it helps:
-Supports emotional well-being during difficult times
-Reduces fear, confusion, and anxiety
-Promotes healthy development and resilience
-Encourages expression through play and communication

Areas of support include:
-Grief and loss
-Medical experiences or diagnoses
-Stress and trauma
-Life transitions and behavioral challenges (e.g., anxiety, ADHD, autism, family changes)

Through guidance, play, and education, Child Life Therapy helps children feel understood, supported, and better equipped to navigate life’s challenges.

"The iPad and communication tools provided to this student are already having a meaningful impact. “It has been incredibly helpful for him,” his teacher shared, noting how much he enjoys using features like Siri to explore and learn independently.

With access to classroom apps, audiobooks, and Google Classroom, he can now practice skills and complete assignments at his own pace. The device has also created opportunities for connection, whether watching videos or sharing stories with his siblings.

“I can't thank you enough for what you do,” his teacher wrote. As this student prepares for an upcoming surgery, this technology will help him stay connected to school and continue learning."
