Alcohol Awareness Month felt like a good time to share something I’ve been thinking about more in my own life and in my work as a primary care provider.
I’ve always enjoyed a cocktail, but the research around alcohol and health risks has become harder to ignore. More and more people are exploring ways to drink less, take breaks, or swap in non-alcoholic options.
The good news is you don’t have to be perfect to make a difference. Even small changes can improve sleep, blood pressure, mood, and overall health.
If alcohol is something you’re thinking of cutting back on-you’re not alone.
