Megan — The Star Healer

In a quiet coastal village by the sea, there lived a woman who understood the language of energy, breath, and the body. Travelers came from distant lands seeking her gentle hands and quiet wisdom. She lived between worlds — part healer, part storyteller, part wanderer.

✨ When the Body Isn’t Just “Muscles” — A Message From My Massage Table ✨

One thing I’ve learned over the years is that massage isn’t always just about tight shoulders or a sore back.

Sometimes, bodywork brings people into contact with parts of themselves they’ve been avoiding for a long time — stress stored in the chest, grief hiding in the hips, old tension patterns they didn’t even realize they were carrying.

And when that happens, people often react in one of two ways:

💛 They lean in and allow the healing to unfold
or
💛 They pause, step back, and give themselves space because it feels unfamiliar or vulnerable

Neither reaction is wrong.

Massage can bring up more than people expect — clarity, emotions, awareness, and sometimes a deeper understanding of what truly needs healing.

And sometimes… that awareness is uncomfortable.

If you’ve ever stepped away from massage because something “came up,” please know this:

✨ It doesn’t mean anything is wrong.
✨ It doesn’t mean you’re not ready.
✨ It doesn’t mean the work isn’t helping.

It simply means your body brought something to the surface, and your nervous system asked for a pause.

My job isn’t to push you through it —
my job is to hold safe space when you’re ready, support the physical healing, and honor the emotional layers that can appear along the way.

✨ I just renewed my massage license — it’s officially been 15 years of practicing massage therapy 💙

This also marks 5 years of running my own business full-time, which feels wild to say. Before that, I worked 1.5 years at a spa and 7 years with a chiropractor. Most of that time, I was also seeing massage or polarity clients on the side.

These days, I’m not seeing as many people as I used to — and honestly, I love that. I have more energy to really focus in and be present for the sessions I do offer. It’s such a gift to hold space for others in a way that feels grounded and intentional.

Thanks for being part of this journey with me. Whether you’ve been on my table once or many times, I’m so grateful.
