Sometimes the scale and the mirror don’t tell the full story.

At 5’1” and 120 pounds, most people would probably assume this woman is “healthy.” But her metabolic scan showed something very different:

📊 Metabolic Health Score: 18/100
🧠 Metabolic Age: 67
🔥 Fat Burn Efficiency: 4/10
⚠️ Visceral Fat Risk: High
📉 Estimated Body Fat: 43%

This is exactly why I’m so passionate about looking deeper than just weight.

You can look “fine” on the outside and still have underlying metabolic dysfunction happening internally… especially around visceral fat, muscle loss, blood sugar regulation, inflammation, and fat burning efficiency.

Your body is constantly giving clues long before disease shows up in lab work or medications become necessary.

That’s why I started offering these metabolic scans… not to shame anyone, but to create awareness and help people understand what’s really happening inside their body.

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is simply get honest data.

If you’re curious what your metabolic health looks like, you can take your free scan here👇🏼

This really puts things into perspective for me.

Most people don’t wake up one day suddenly unhealthy. It’s usually years of small choices… repeated over and over… that slowly move us toward better health or further away from it.

And honestly, I think that’s encouraging too… because it means small positive choices matter more than we realize.

A little more movement.
A little more water.
A little less stress.
A little better sleep.
A few more meals made with intention.

Those things may feel small today… but over time they add up in powerful ways.

I know for me, the biggest changes in my health didn’t come from doing something extreme. They came from learning how to become more consistent with simple habits.

Your future self is being shaped by what you choose repeatedly… not occasionally 💛

I may have a new obsession… 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

I bought a Ninja Creami that came with 2 containers. Apparently that wasn’t nearly enough because somehow I ended up ordering 8 more so I could meal prep ICE CREAM.

Listen… if I’m going to have a sweet tooth, I’m going to have a plan. 😆

In my defense, I’m making them with our high-protein powder, so they’re not only delicious, but they help keep me on track with my health goals too. Now when that nighttime sweet craving hits, I have a healthy option ready to go without the guilt.

Now if I can just figure out how to keep Andy from claiming my stash, we’ll be in good shape 🤦🏻‍♀️ 😂🍦

Anyone else have a healthy obsession lately? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Heidi’s journey has been one of steady commitment and awareness.

She started at 332 lbs and, by April 2024, had reached her original goal of 225 lbs… something she once didn’t think would be possible.

What stands out most is that she didn’t stop there. Even after losing over 100 lbs, she recognized there was still more work to do for her overall health:
• body composition still needed improvement
• visceral fat remained elevated
• and she chose to keep going with intention

This isn’t about chasing perfection or a number on the scale. It’s about continuing to support metabolic health and feeling better in everyday life.

So she’s in another phase now… not starting over, but building on everything she’s already accomplished. Focused on strength, energy, and long term health.

Her consistency and willingness to keep going is what makes this so meaningful to watch.

Lately, I’ve been reminded that life doesn’t always need big, dramatic changes to feel better.

Sometimes it’s a morning walk before the world wakes up. Sometimes it’s a good conversation with a friend. Sometimes it’s seeing progress where you used to see frustration.

And sometimes it’s simply choosing to look for the good that’s already right in front of you.

Life can be heavy at times. We all go through seasons that test us. That’s why I’ve learned to appreciate the little things—the small wins, the unexpected blessings, the moments that make you smile for no reason at all.

A little bit of gratitude. A little bit of hope. A little bit of sunshine. ☀️

Sometimes that’s exactly what we need.

Looking back, I realize the diagnosis wasn’t actually the beginning of my health problems.

It was simply the moment the test results finally confirmed what had been developing in my body for years.

Before I started focusing on my health, I was taking multiple medications to manage the consequences of an unhealthy lifestyle. Diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, depression, mood swings, sleep issues, inflammation, and chronic pain had become part of my everyday life. Like many people, I kept telling myself I would deal with my health later. I was busy. I had responsibilities. There was always something else that seemed more important.

The problem is that our bodies don’t wait.

Years can pass before a lab result, diagnosis, or doctor’s appointment reveals what’s really going on beneath the surface. By then, many people feel scared, overwhelmed, and convinced they have no options left.

I remember feeling that way myself.

What changed my life wasn’t finding another medication. It was finally making the decision to prioritize my health and address the habits that had contributed to where I was.

Little by little, those daily choices started adding up.

Today, with my doctor’s guidance, the medications I once depended on for diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol, depression, and other health concerns are no longer part of my daily life. That doesn’t mean everyone’s journey will look like mine, but it showed me something important: our bodies are often capable of more healing and improvement than we realize when we give them the support they need.

That’s why I encourage people not to wait for the diagnosis, the scary conversation, or the moment when they feel like they’ve run out of options.

Your health is either being invested in or neglected every day. The choices may seem small in the moment, but over time they create the future you’re going to live in.

If your body has been giving you warning signs, don’t ignore them the way I did.

The best time to start was years ago.

The second-best time is today. ❤️

A few weeks ago, this sweet client was feeling discouraged and honestly believed surgery might be her only option. She was tired of struggling, tired of feeling uncomfortable in her own body, and having a hard time seeing a different future for herself.

Today she sent me this picture from her desk at work with a message that simply said, “Haven’t had to use those in 2 weeks!!!” ❤️

Along with that exciting win, she’s also noticing more energy, less inflammation, feeling lighter, and her clothes are fitting looser. But what makes me happiest isn’t any of those things.

It’s the hope.

For the first time in a long time, she’s beginning to believe that her future can look different than she once thought. She’s making plans, setting goals, and starting to see possibilities that felt completely out of reach just a month ago.

Moments like this are such a reminder that improving our health is about so much more than a number on the scale. Sometimes the greatest gift is simply getting your hope back and realizing that where you are today doesn’t have to determine where you’ll be tomorrow.

I’m so proud of her and grateful to be walking alongside her on this journey. 🙌🏼

Happy June 1st! ☀️

There’s something I love about the start of a new month. Not because the calendar changes everything overnight, but because it reminds us that we get another opportunity to begin again.

So many people spend time looking back at what they didn’t do, the goals they didn’t reach, or the habits they didn’t stick with. Before they know it, they’re carrying the weight of last month into the next one.

What if June was different?

What if instead of focusing on what went wrong, you focused on one small thing you could do right today?

I’ve learned that lasting change rarely comes from one big decision. It comes from small choices made consistently over time. Drinking the water. Taking the walk. Getting the support. Choosing not to quit when progress feels slow.

Those little things may not seem like much in the moment, but they add up.

As we step into a new month, my encouragement is simple: don’t wait for the perfect time, the perfect plan, or the perfect circumstances. Start where you are, with what you have, and trust that small steps still move you forward.

June is a fresh page. A chance to write a new chapter. A chance to take better care of yourself so you can show up for the people and moments that matter most.

I’m excited to see what this month holds. 💚

What’s one thing you’re focusing on in June? 🌻

As we get ready to close out another month, I keep thinking about the people who have been quietly following along. The ones who have read my posts, celebrated other people’s success stories, and maybe even thought, “I wish that could be me.”

Maybe you’ve been telling yourself you’ll start after vacation, after summer, after things slow down, or when life feels a little less chaotic.

I understand that because I used to be that person too.

When I first started my own journey, I wasn’t looking for perfection. I was simply tired of feeling tired. My energy was gone, I wasn’t sleeping well, my health was headed in the wrong direction, and I knew something needed to change.

Looking back now, I’m so grateful I didn’t wait until everything felt “just right” before I started.

That’s why I wanted to extend my invitation one more time before the month ends tomorrow.

I’m looking for one more person who is ready to focus on their health, create healthier habits, and start feeling hopeful again. Not because they’re chasing a number on the scale, but because they want more energy, better health, and a future where they can fully show up for the people they love.

I truly believe our health impacts every part of our lives. The way we feel, the way we show up for our families, and the memories we’re able to make.

If you’ve been thinking about reaching out, asking questions, or learning more, I’d love to chat. There is absolutely no pressure. We can simply talk about where you are, where you’d like to be, and whether what I offer might be a good fit for you. 💚

Sometimes one conversation can change the direction of your future.

Maybe this is yours. 🥰
