The art that I do took me many years and life experiences to get to where I am and where I am always making improvements I am having to thank my mentor Nathan Henderson who not only taught me an art but also explain the theories behind the art. Nathan also took the time to mold me into the martial artist that I have become today. I would like to take a moment to give my mentor Nathan Henderson a very special thanks for everything he has instilled in me and also not only in the art but also taking the time to push me to my full potential he knew I had a warrior spirit. So a special thank you sensei Nathan.
Becoming better does not come without hard work and dedication with long and painful hours of intense study in every aspect of your chosen art. You can only accomplish this by being true to yourself in knowing your strength and weakness. I am not the most physically gifted by any means and I am not a very large man I may not be able to beat everyone but I can hurt anyone.
Now I improve in my weaker areas because that is the only way to meet your full potential. Everyone learns differently and with that in mind they need to be taught in a different manner than others. Now they being taught my style but they are stressed to eventually make it into their own art. Each individual will have their own look unique to their individual, needs body types and out look.
That is what they should strive for. It will still be my style but it will be their own personal flavor. They may pick and choose what works for them. what I stress most in my ROUGH and TUMBLE is the theories concepts principles and ideas of what makes everything possible. My goal is not to make money or to please everyone my goal is to spread my art to as many others that are willing to learn. My art is not for the faint of heart it is for the true warrior.
what I would like more than anything is to touch as many peoples lives as I can, but my main goal is to find that special individual who will assume my mantel as head of my system one day.
