It’s time to make your voice heard! Vote for your favorite local businesses, people, services, and food in the 27th Annual Best of Jackson, presented by the Jackson County Sentinel and Southern Torch.

Cast your ballot online at https://southerntorch.com/best-of/jc-2026/ or visit jcsentinel.com. Online voting is open Wednesday, Aug. 26 through Wednesday, Sept. 9.

📬 Paper ballots can be submitted in person or by mail to our office at 208 South Broad Street in Scottsboro. Only one paper ballot per person. Ballots must be completely filled out with your name and address to be valid. Paper ballots will be available in print editions of the Jackson County Sentinel on Wednesday, Aug. 26; Saturday, Aug. 29; Wednesday, Sept. 2 and Saturday, Sept. 5. Submit a paper ballot and be entered for a chance to win $50. Winner will be drawn at random on Saturday, Sept. 25.

⏰ DEADLINE: Wednesday, Sept. 9
Mail-in ballots must be postmarked by Friday, Sept. 4.

🏆 Winners will be announced in our special Best of Jackson magazine included to subscribers in the Saturday, Oct. 31 edition of the Jackson County Sentinel. Additional copies will be available for purchase at our office.
