*𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭-𝐎𝐩 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭* At just seven days post-op, this patient is already showing beautifully restored facial contours, a more defined jawline, and an improved neck contour. While swelling and bruising are still part of the normal healing process, the underlying improvements are already evident.

This patient’s surgical plan included:

• Extended Deep Plane Face & Neck Lift to reposition the deeper facial tissues that descend with age, restoring youthful definition to the cheeks, jawline, and neck while reestablishing facial support.

• Full Face Fat Grafting using the patient’s own fat, harvested from the lower back and inner thighs, to restore volume that naturally diminishes over time. Fat grafting softens hollow areas, enhances facial harmony, and creates smoother, more youthful contours.

• Full Face & Neck CO2 Laser Resurfacing to improve skin texture, soften fine lines, reduce sun damage, and stimulate collagen remodeling for healthier, more radiant skin.

One of the biggest misconceptions about facial rejuvenation is that a facelift alone addresses every sign of aging. In reality, facial aging involves changes to the deeper facial structures, loss of facial volume, and declining skin quality. By addressing each of these components together, we can achieve results that are more comprehensive, balanced, and natural.

Although her results will continue to evolve over the coming months as swelling subsides and the tissues settle, these early photos already demonstrate the structural improvements achieved during surgery. Recovery is a gradual process, and the final outcome becomes more refined with each stage of healing.

A Neck Reimagined. A Jawline Restored.

One of the most transformative changes in facial rejuvenation isn’t always the face - it’s the neck and jawline. This early postoperative result highlights what is possible when the underlying anatomy is addressed rather than simply tightening skin.

This patient underwent:
• Hybrid High SMAS – Extended Deep Plane Facelift
• Deep Structural Necklift
• Browlift

The dramatic improvement in the neck is the result of treating each anatomic layer contributing to aging:

✔️ Platysma: The separated platysma muscles were restored to recreate a youthful cervicomental angle and provide a stable muscular foundation.

✔️ Deep Neck Fat: Fat beneath the platysma was sculpted to reduce fullness that cannot be corrected with liposuction alone.

✔️ Digastric Muscles: Prominent anterior digastric bellies were refined to soften submental fullness and improve neck definition.

✔️ Submandibular Glands: When enlarged and anatomically appropriate, partial reduction helps eliminate persistent bulging beneath the jawline that often remains after traditional neck lifts.

✔️ Extended Deep Plane Release: Releasing the facial retaining ligaments allows the cheek and jowl to be elevated as a single composite flap, restoring youthful facial contours while avoiding an over-pulled appearance.

The result is more than a tighter neck - it is a re-established mandibular border, sharper cervicomental angle, improved facial harmony, and a naturally refreshed appearance. The browlift complements the lower face by restoring upper facial balance and opening the eyes without changing the patient’s identity.

This is early healing, and while swelling will continue to improve over the coming months, the restored anatomy and definition are already evident.

Natural. Structural. Long-lasting.

✨ 3 Weeks After Surgery: When the Scar Is Already Becoming Difficult to Find

(Out of state patient - shared her own photos. No editing)

One of the most common questions I hear is, “What will my facelift scars look like?” These photos are only 3 weeks after an Extended Deep Plane Facelift & Structural Deep Neck Lift, and they highlight something I believe is just as important as the lift itself - meticulous incision design and closure.

A beautiful facelift isn’t just about repositioning the deeper tissues. It also requires thoughtful incision placement within the natural contours of the ear, preservation of the hairline and sideburns, and a completely tension-free skin closure. When tension is placed on the deeper SMAS and platysma—not the skin—the incision can heal remarkably well, even in the earliest stages.

At just three weeks, these periauricular scars are already blending beautifully into the natural anatomy. While scars will continue to mature over the next 6–12 months, this is an excellent example of what can be achieved with meticulous surgical technique, careful postoperative care, and attention to every detail.

Your facelift should leave people noticing you look refreshed - not that you’ve had surgery. The best scar is the one no one notices.

JUNE IS MEN’S HEALTH & REJUVENATION MONTH

Men are no longer accepting that looking tired, heavy, or older than they feel is simply part of aging.

The number of men seeking aesthetic procedures continues to rise, with over 1.6 million cosmetic procedures performed annually in men and facial rejuvenation becoming one of the fastest-growing categories. Recent surveys show facelifts are now among the most commonly performed facial plastic surgery procedures in male patients. (American Med Spa Association)

The challenge with male facial rejuvenation is that it is fundamentally different from surgery in women.

A successful male facelift is not simply a facelift performed on a man.

Male facial anatomy is unique:
• Heavier skin and thicker soft tissues
• Stronger facial retaining ligaments
• Different skeletal structure and jawline aesthetics
• Lower, flatter brows
• Distinct hairline and beard-bearing skin that must be preserved

The goal is never to feminize the face.

A natural male result should maintain strength, definition, and masculinity while eliminating the features that make a man look older than he feels—jowls, a heavy neck, loss of jawline definition, deep folds, and facial descent.

My Extended Deep Plane Facelift combined with a Deep Structural Neck Lift addresses the deeper causes of facial aging by repositioning descended tissues, restoring jawline definition, and creating a sharper cervicomental angle without a pulled, operated, or over-tightened appearance.

The best compliment a male patient can receive isn’t, “You look like you had surgery.”

It’s:

“You look rested.”
“You look healthier.”
“You look like yourself.”

Just a better version.

3 months post-op from an Extended Deep Plane Face + Neck Lift!

A result like this doesn’t come from one procedure, it comes from a plan.

This patient underwent a Bilateral Brow Lift, Extended Deep Plane Facelift, Deep Neck Lift, Upper Lip Lift, and Earlobe Repair. Each procedure targets a different layer of aging, from skin laxity and deeper structural descent to volume shifts and proportional balance.

At three months, early results show a more elevated brow position, smoother midface transition, improved jawline definition, and a more contoured neck. As healing continues, residual swelling will further resolve, and refinement will continue over the coming months.

A comprehensive approach allows each area to support the next, creating a result that looks balanced, natural, and cohesive.

We’re honored to have been part of her surgical journey and incredibly grateful that she trusted us with her care. Thank you to our patient for sharing your experience!

A 2-year post-op update that speaks for itself!

This transformation highlights how addressing both the face and neck together can create balanced, long-lasting results. By working beneath the surface, a Deep Plane Facelift repositions deeper facial structures rather than simply tightening the skin, helping maintain a natural look over time.

Paired with a Deep Neck Lift, this approach allows for a more defined jawline and a smoother, sculpted neckline. As healing continues, results soften and settle, revealing a refreshed appearance that still feels like her.

Procedures performed:
• Deep Plane Facelift
• Deep Neck Lift
• Pinch Lower Blepharoplasty
• Periorbital Fat Grafting

2 years later, her results continue to hold beautifully with natural movement and contour.

A comprehensive approach to facial rejuvenation 🤍

This patient traveled in for surgery and is just two days post-op here. At this stage, some swelling is expected, but what stands out most is how natural everything is already looking and how well she’s feeling.

Her plan included an Extended Deep Plane Face & Neck Lift to address deeper structural aging, restoring definition through the jawline and neck while supporting the midface. Rather than simply tightening, this technique repositions underlying tissue for results that look like her, just refreshed.

To further enhance the eye area, periorbital fat grafting with microfat was used to soften hollowing and create a smoother, more rested appearance. An endoscopic brow lift helped elevate and open the upper face, especially in areas where there was heaviness.

For overall skin quality, microneedling with nanofat was incorporated to support skin rejuvenation, improving texture and giving the skin a healthier, more refined look over time.

A comprehensive approach like this allows each area to work together, creating balance instead of focusing on just one feature.

Hearing her talk about recovery just days after surgery says so much. Comfortable, manageable, and already noticing the changes.

Healing will continue over the next several weeks, with results continuing to improve as everything settles.
