About me:
As a Registered Dietitian, evidenced-based practice and science have built the foundation for my nutrition philosophy. My intrinsic interest in fitness and exercise guided me to become a Certified Personal Trainer and, ultimately, obtain my Master's Degree in Sports Nutrition. Pursuit of an even deeper understanding of exercise pushed me to obtain my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) to further help my clients reach their goals. Pairing my knowledge of human movement with my passion for nutrition has given me drive and purpose. It is with joy and excitement that I share my love and expertise about nutrition and health to optimize your goals and lifestyle.

Looks like we’ve had quite a few new friends around here lately, so I figured it was time to properly introduce myself 🥰

I’m Zoë aka fatlossrdzoe (ps the rd stands for registered dietitian, not road lol a few people have asked so wanted to clear that up first 😆)

I’m a Registered Dietitian, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, business owner, and probably someone who gets way too excited about creating high-protein recipes.

But more importantly, I’m a woman who understands what it’s like to struggle with food, body image, and feeling like you’re constantly starting over.

Long before I became a dietitian, I fell for the detoxes, diet trends, and “fat-burning” products too... I spent years thinking I needed to eat less, do more cardio, and be more disciplined.

Turns out, that wasn’t the answer. Shocker 🤯

Today, I help my clients (women mostly, but men, too) lose fat, build confidence, improve their relationship with food, and create habits they can actually maintain, WITHOUT giving up vacations, dinners out, date nights, or the foods they love 🫶

A few fun facts about me:
- I love dessert and usually have a sweet treat every night
- I’ve maintained a 20-pound weight loss myself
- I genuinely love grocery shopping and recipe development
- when I wanted to paint my room bubblegum pink in elementary school my parents tried to convince me not to because they thought I would “grow out of it” .. jokes on them because I am a ride or die pink lover and the color still makes up the majority of my closet
- I am passionate about combining my evidence-based background with real life experience from working with hundreds of clients to make nutrition to make sustainable fat loss less overwhelming, approachable, and, dare I even say, fun ;)

Starting over every Monday is exhausting. And it's not because you lack willpower. 💫

You keep starting over because the plan you're following is too restrictive to sustain. Of course you fall off. Anyone would.

Over-restriction leads to the binge every single time. When you deprive yourself all week, the weekend doesn't feel like a choice. It feels like survival. That's the cycle, not a character flaw.

You don't need more motivation. You need structure. A plan that keeps you full, includes foods you actually enjoy, and doesn't require a perfect Monday to work.

And honestly?

This milestone feels like the perfect reminder of something I teach my clients every single day:

The things that last are rarely built overnight.

Over 5 and a half years ago, I started this page because I was frustrated by the amount of nutrition misinformation and overwhelming confusion online.

I wanted to create a space where women could find realistic, evidence-based nutrition advice without the extremes, fear-mongering, and quick-fix promises.

Since then, I’ve shown up thousands of times.

Not because every post went viral (in fact, I just got my first “viral” video last week 🤯)

Not because growth happened quickly (talk about the bamboo analogy 😮‍💨)

But because I believed in the mission. And showed up for it with passion daily.

And in a lot of ways, this journey mirrors what I teach my clients about sustainable fat loss.

Most people want fast results, duh.

But the results that actually last are built through consistency, patience, and showing up even when progress feels slow.

That’s true whether you’re growing a business, changing your body composition, improving your relationship with food, or building habits you can maintain for life.

This page didn’t grow because of one viral post… It grew because of thousands of ordinary days of showing up, the “unsexy” part.

Just like lasting results don’t come from one perfect week… They come from continuing to show up long after the excitement wears off. (This is a theme I’ve been talking about with a ton of clients lately)

So while I’m incredibly grateful for this milestone, what I’m most proud of isn’t the number; it’s the community we’ve built here 🥹
