Have you ever said to yourself, “If I were just a littel stronger, more consistent with my journaling or less sensitive, I’d finally be able to ‘get over it’ and not have anxiety.” ?

this belief forces you to carry the burder of the lie: that healing from anxiety requires years of weekly therapy and chasing an ever-moving target.

You’ve been told anxiety is a personality trait.
Cue “Anxious Girlie” core.

That it’s a mental weakness you have to just manage for the rest of your life.

This belief traps you in the cycle of: identify as the anxious girlie, white-knuckle through life, suppress it when it comes up until you crash out. Rinse and repeat.

Lately I’ve seen an increase in limiting beliefs blocking people at the forefront of their healing.

It’s a delicate a balance of trusting your expertise in your own body, and opening up the possibility that something you haven’t tried might work.

I find using a mantra like “I am open to seeing things differently,” allows these limiting beliefs to fall of and get in agreement to a new way appearing.

Soon after, the limits are dropped and an opportunity to further the journey presents itself.

I see this in myself when I’m faced with a lot of uncertainty, my protective brain wants to create limits, or guide rails, instead of hanging in the space of uncertainty (where magic ✨ always happens)

If I can be mindful enough to sink into the uncertainty and drop the limits- it’s pretty incredible what shows up.

Wow did I fully soak up that holiday break, or what?!

2022 was a HARD year for many, but also came with so many blessings + depth.

2023 is a “3” year for me in Numerology.

All about birthing & is usually the year in people’s lives they say “that was the best year of my life!”

And boy, oh boy I welcome it!! 🙏🏽

I’m holding off on resolutions for another week or so, to really intentional about what I set up this year.

But for my last official day of vacation I’m gonna cook & vision board with White Lotus 🪷 in the background!!

CAN YOU SPOT HEALING HAPPENING?

Anxiety gets lumped into one☂️ term
& this might work for conventional medicine...

But when you're looking actually HEAL the anxiety (instead of band-aid it)

You need to know the ins + outs
All the deets of how it shows up in you,
To catch the signs of reversal 🔄

For each person this will be different.

Sure, there's some common themes,
but each anxiety picture has its own flavor. 😋

This becomes especially vital when reflecting on progress
to find out "is this stuff really working?"

Too often I see clients who, before working together, tried to self-heal,
but didn't yet know the language of their body!!
The gave up when they were improving, or they didn't know how to tweak their plan

"I'm no better - I still have anxiety"
but when we break it down, step by step...

✅Jaw Tension - BETTER
✅Nausea - GONE
✅Headaches- BETTER
✅Neck pain -BETTER
✅Racing thoughts GONE
✅Insomnia - BETTER
✅Chest Pain - GONE

Without breaking it down,
and holding a black + white bar of "anxiety vs no anxiety"
You wont be able to 👀 the healing happening.

If they would have known their anxiety,
known the signs of healing - they would
continue on their plan.

Or course correct for what wasn't working.

Instead of saying "My anxiety,"
when referencing this experience,
try to really parse it apart. ✂️

👉🏼What's the first sign?
👉🏼Write down the play-by-play?
👉🏼If you feel heat - where? does it travel?
👉🏼What sensations are you noticing?

This is part of the healing work:
leaning in and getting curious
to know your body + its signs

We THRIVE on natural rhythms. Stick to Sleep Schedules to nurture yours by creating a Winding-Down and Waking Up routine.

Yearly we get less exposure to the rays of the ☀️ and 🌛. All from being inside too much! The healing rhythms of the sun + moon can regulate hormones + metabolic pathways better than any 💊 or diet. But only if we are exposed to them.

🔘 Move Mindfully
Skip movement for convenience? Choose the stairs, the farther parking spot, or daily walks. Get 💪🏼! Contrary to belief, muscle is the determiner fo metabolism, not aging.

🔘 PFF
High-achieving career women tend to under-eat ➡️ more stress! Protein, fat, + fiber at each meal is the goal. Blood Sugar struggles (or anxiety!)? Pop a high-protein snack between your meals.

🔘 Plan Co-regulation
Healing happens in community! Plan *in-person* dinners, walks, shopping - with the people that feel like 'home'. After years of CEO-mode + an online-only tribe we must plan to change that! BumbleBFF, Peanut, MeetUp, church or a hiking group!

🔘 Drink (clean) Water
Use that new rose gold 40oz tumbler 🎅🏼 got you + chug 2/day. Got dirty water? Get a filter! Hate water? Make an herbal tea mix.
