Chronic pelvic pain affects more than where it hurts.

It can change the way you make plans, the places you go, the way you sit, the activities you enjoy, and the confidence you have in your own body.

Those changes are often invisible to everyone else, but they have a real impact on daily life.

At AZCCPP, our goal isn't simply to reduce pain. It's to understand what's contributing to it so we can help patients get back to the things they've been missing.

Because treatment isn't just about feeling better. It's about living more fully.

Feeling heard can change everything.

For many people living with chronic pelvic pain, the journey to answers is often longer than it should be. Our goal has always been to listen carefully, evaluate thoughtfully, and provide care that's centered on the individual, not just the diagnosis.

Thank you, Stephanie, for your kind words and for allowing us to be part of your journey.

Living with chronic pelvic pain often means thinking about your pain before you make plans, before you travel, before you sit down, before you exercise, and sometimes before you even get out of bed.

That constant mental load is something many people never see.

If this feels familiar, you're not alone. Your pain is real, and understanding what's driving it is the first step toward finding the right treatment.

Chronic pelvic pain is rarely caused by just one thing. That’s why understanding the full picture matters.

Pelvic physical therapy can reveal important patterns in movement, muscle function, nerve sensitivity, and mobility that help guide treatment decisions.

At AZCCPP, .k.dpt.pwcs , our Director of Physical Therapy, works closely with Dr. Hibner and the rest of our team to help patients better understand what’s driving their pain before deciding on the next step.

If you’re experiencing chronic pelvic pain, schedule an evaluation with Kayla to learn whether pelvic floor physical therapy should be part of your treatment plan.

Pelvic pain can take away so much. I never take lightly the trust it takes for a patient to share their story, especially after years of feeling dismissed or misunderstood.

Helping someone find relief matters. Helping them feel heard, respected, and hopeful matters just as much.

Janna, thank you for trusting me and the AZCCPP team with your care. Your words mean more than you know.

Many of the patients I see have already been through years of trying to understand their pain.

They have seen multiple providers, tried different treatments, and often have been told that their symptoms do not fully make sense.

But complex pelvic pain is rarely simple.

The pain may involve the nerves, pelvic floor, bladder, bowel, endometriosis, prior surgery, scar tissue, mesh, inflammation, or more than one of these at the same time.

At AZCCPP, our goal is not to rush patients into another treatment before we understand what may be contributing to the symptoms.

The first step is listening carefully, reviewing the history, and looking at the full pattern of pain.

Your pain is real.

The answer may take time to understand, but that does not make the pain any less valid.

If your pelvic pain has been difficult to explain or treat, our team at AZCCPP is here to help evaluate the full picture.

Many patients come to AZCCPP after being told they may have pudendal neuralgia or pudendal nerve entrapment.

These terms are often used together, but they do not always mean the same thing.
Pudendal neuralgia means pain involving the pudendal nerve. Pudendal nerve entrapment is one possible cause, but it is not the only one.

In some patients, the nerve may be compressed. In others, the pain may be influenced by inflammation, pelvic floor muscle spasm, scar tissue, prior surgery, mesh, injury, childbirth trauma, or another overlapping pelvic pain condition.

This is why careful evaluation matters.

Before we decide on treatment, we have to understand what is actually contributing to the pain.

If you have been told you may have pudendal neuralgia, our team at AZCCPP can help evaluate the full picture.

Many patients who come to AZCCPP have spent years looking for the right explanation and the right care.

Some travel from across the country because their condition is complex, their symptoms have not been fully understood, or they need a level of specialization that is difficult to find closer to home.

I never take that trust lightly.

When someone chooses to travel for care, it is important to take the time to listen carefully, understand the history, and make sure each patient feels confident in the path forward.

I appreciate this patient’s kind words and am grateful she trusted us with her care.

Pelvic physical therapy is not only about exercises.

For patients with chronic pelvic pain, it can help us understand how the body is functioning around the pain. Many patients develop guarding, tension, changes in movement, or sensitivity that they may not recognize on their own.

At AZCCPP, physical therapy can be an important part of both treatment and evaluation.

If pelvic pain has changed the way you sit, walk, move, or function, our team can help determine whether pelvic physical therapy may be appropriate.

Many patients come to AZCCPP after years of trying to understand their pelvic pain.

They have often seen multiple providers and have been told different things, but their symptoms still do not fully make sense.

Our practice is different because we focus specifically on complex pelvic pain, including conditions that can involve the nerves, pelvic floor, endometriosis, prior surgery, mesh complications, and overlapping symptoms.

The goal is not to rush into one treatment. It is to take the time to understand the full picture and determine what may actually be contributing to the pain.

That is where meaningful care begins.
