I didn't realize that they put this on AZcentral. How it worked out...Well, not that great. The DA had let him go before we could even submit a receipt for the 1600 in damages and we didn't get the car back from the dealership with its damages yet. Her reasoning was that he probably didn't cause even 1000 in damages.
Then when I submitted them there was a conference call between the DA and a policeman and myself. We couldn't apply for a restraining order because he hadn't done it more than once yet....but we could try. Same answer from the judge. If he had been a "boyfriend" i.e. "stalker" type, we could have gotten a restraining order, but for us, he was a "random attack". I had everything he did on tape and had submitted it. The police didn't send it to the DA. She saw my video and was concerned that I had anger issues. The policeman said, "Now what can we do to help you with your anger management?" Right. Well, Ted replaced everything, dear that he is, we never saw the manic Robert again, and I live with the doors locked and alarm on and anxiety and nightmares at night thinking he will come back....but then I can get a restraining order. It's okay. God is good and life is getting better. Yesterday I was able to walk without the walker about 100 yards. Every day is an improvement.

Robert Kalvin Bleau, 27, was initially arrested on felony charges, however, the Maricopa County Attorney's Office says he won't be convicted on these charges.

I got two orders for bags today - I really need it. This has been a low year for me. I've made President's Club, Honor Society or above every year since 2010 when I joined here. I sold Avon since 1992-2008 in CA when I moved to Arizona to marry Ted. Every year has been getting better, but then someone hacked my Google spot (you see it when you type in AVON SCOTTSDALE in Google) and told everyone my business was closed. I had no idea. I've won some beautiful awards from Avon for leadership and sales, but the one I'm most proud of is for Customer Service. I would like to invite you to call me and let me know what you need to round out your gift-giving. When Avon first deleted my Cream to Powder foundation I will admit I was a little down. The new FMG cream to powder was more expensive and I didn’t want to lose customers who also loved the C2Pwd and the ability to get it on sale for sometimes 8.99.

Red heads, especially Irish redheads sometimes develop a Reddish look to their freckled faces or as my Dad used to say “Where the fairies kissed me with chocolate on their mouths.” As we age, our skin does too. Have you noticed that? I think I’ve done a pretty good job of keeping wrinkles and rosacea away lo’ these many 70 years. Crm2pwd always gave me that Dresden or Matte look that I like. So I did it, girls! I started using the new C2pwd called FM cashmere cushion.

This says so much. We need to listen. I think we’ve probably all taken this subject for granted. Here’s to the nurse in my family.

If you have never zipped up body bags on a shift, you shouldn’t be deciding how much nurses make.

If you have never watched a person suffocate to death from their own blood or sputum, you shouldn’t be deciding how much nurses make.

If you have never been punched and kicked for trying to assess your patient, you shouldn’t be deciding how much nurses make.

If you have never had someone beg you to not let them die, or to let them die, you shouldn’t be deciding how much nurses make.

If you've never had to look into a loved ones eyes or hold them while they crumble when you tell them of the death of their child, mother, father, sister, aunt, gran, papa... you shouldn't be deciding how much nurses make.

If you have never told your family your shift was “fine” to spare them from what you saw that day, you shouldn’t be deciding how much nurses make.

If you’ve never felt ribs breaking from doing CPR on someone’s family member, you shouldn’t be deciding how much nurses make.

For years nurses have been underpaid and undervalued and no one seemed to care.

Now that healthcare is on the brink of a collapse, everyone is concerned.

Nurses are leaving the profession at rapid rates.

Perhaps it’s from the years of getting 1% raises and barely being able to pay bills. Maybe it’s because nurses are asked to do more and more with less. Maybe it’s from the terrible staffing ratios. The reasons are honestly endless.

Let’s start caring about nurse retention, nurse training, fair wages, safe staffing, etc.

Let’s not get to the point where you need a nurse and there isn’t one to spare.
