Vitiligo is a chronic condition that causes loss of skin pigment and affects people of all skin tones. While it is not contagious, it can significantly impact a patient’s quality of life—both physically and emotionally.

For dermatology providers, awareness is an important step toward delivering thoughtful, patient-centered care.
