During a difficult hospital stay at HonorHealth Scottsdale Osborn Medical Center, James Hoselton and his friend’s family found a steady source of comfort in James Goldhardt. This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we're honored to share Magdalena's story.

After a routine mammogram revealed breast cancer, Magdalena turned to HonorHealth Cancer Care for treatment, guidance and support. Today, she is cancer-free and using her experience to advocate for screening, early detection and compassionate care for others facing a diagnosis.

Her journey also inspired her to give back through HonorHealth's Cancer Patient Assistance Fund, helping fellow patients navigate the financial and practical challenges that often accompany cancer treatment.

This October, we encourage everyone to prioritize recommended screenings, learn their risk factors and join us in recognizing the strength of survivors and patients. 💗

When Judy Alvarez was placed on life support, her husband and sons never left her side. Throughout those difficult days, they found comfort in the extraordinary care of nurse Annie Wallander, whose kindness left a lasting impression on their family.

Through HonorHealth Foundation's Ovation program, patients and families can recognize caregivers who made a meaningful difference in their lives while supporting the HonorHealth program of their choice.
