Registration closes Thursday, September 24 — two weeks left to join us in Austin.

Dr. Bobby Thikkurissy returns to Texas for TAPD's 2026 Fall Sedation CE: Sealing the Swiss Cheese — Global Assessment and Mitigation of Risk in Procedural Sedation and In-Office General Anesthesia.

A full day on where risk actually lives in sedation and in-office GA: patient selection, liability when working with anesthesia providers, patients with special needs, airway development, and how birth history shapes sedation of the very young. It builds on May's virtual course, though attending that session isn't a prerequisite.

Advocacy in action. 🤝

This weekend, Dr. Georgeanne McCandless, Dr. Rita Cammarata, and Dr. Adrien Theriot represented Texas pediatric dentistry at the ADA 15th Delegation Meeting. As the legislative and governing body of the ADA, the House of Delegates is the authority guiding the American Dental Association, speaking for the dental profession throughout the U.S. Having pediatric dentists at that table ensures the needs of our youngest patients are part of that conversation.

We are proud of these members for showing up at the national level on behalf of pediatric dentistry and Texas children!

TAPD leaders representing Texas well at the ADA’s Council on Advocacy for Access and Prevention (CAAP) meeting this week! 🦷⭐️

Dr. Alex Otto, TAPD President, serves as the Texas 15th District representative on the Council, and Dr. Sara Ehsani, TAPD CE Chair, serves as the New Dentist Liaison.

We’re proud to see Texas—and pediatric dentistry—so well represented on a council dedicated to advancing access to oral healthcare and advocating for some of our country’s most vulnerable patient populations, including children, individuals with special healthcare needs, older adults, and underserved communities.

📢 Important Update for Texas Medicaid Providers

Starting today, June 12, 2026, TMHP has launched IAMOnline — a new secure, single sign-on portal for accessing applications on tmhp.com.

The following applications are now accessed through IAMOnline:
• MedLog
• Provider Enrollment and Management System (PEMS)
• Manage IMD Clients
• Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA)
• Prior Authorization (PA) on the Portal

✅ Check your email for an activation message sent around June 8 with instructions to set your new password and choose your multi-factor authentication (MFA) method.
