CAN BOTOX ACTUALLY CHANGE YOUR JAWLINE THIS MUCH?!

There’s been a LOT of speculation about what may be behind Ali Larter’s recent facial transformation… but unless you’re her provider, it’s exactly that: speculation.

What I do love about this conversation is that it highlights an area we talk about constantly at JadeGrace:

The lower face + neck matter WAY more than most people realize.

One of my favorite treatments for the right patient is a Nefertiti Neck Lift using neurotoxin.

Here’s the anatomy 👇🏼

Your platysma is a large, thin muscle that extends from the neck into the lower face. As it contracts, it can create downward pull on the jawline, contribute to visible neck bands and make the lower face appear heavier or less defined.

Strategically treating the platysma can decrease some of that downward muscular pull, allowing the opposing elevator muscles to work relatively unopposed.

The result in the RIGHT candidate?

✨ A cleaner-looking jawline
✨ Softening of prominent platysmal bands
✨ Less downward pull on the lower face
✨ A more rested, refined appearance
✨ WITHOUT adding volume

I’ve got a lot left to learn about motherhood and a lot of times I think I’m failing at it but when I really stop and think about it.. it’s so simple…. More than anything, kids just want to hear that their mom or dad is proud of them. They want to be talked up and be told what their strengths are.

Life around them is already testing them down with social norms and expectations …. Let’s be the ones that build them back up 🫶🏼
