You CAN treat wrinkles without tox! Here is how I do it. 🤎

Yes, neuromodulators are the gold standard but they are not the only path. For patients with needle phobia or who simply prefer a more natural approach, there are three treatments worth knowing about.

🤎 Microneedling
I cannot say this enough. Repeated sessions build collagen progressively and with consistency, wrinkles genuinely fade. It is one of the most reliable tools I have.

🤎 PRX
This is my best kept secret for skin that looks completely transformed. It is a potent chemical peel that is safe for brown skin, has minimal to no downtime, and is summer friendly. Patients walk out with mild redness and that is about it.

🤎 Laser
I am bringing on an FDA cleared laser for all skin types including darker skin tones, and I cannot wait to start using it for wrinkle reduction specifically.

A recent patient of mine is a physician. He had 48 hours over a weekend and wanted to address wrinkles, pores, texture, and redness.

We stacked microneedling with PRX and the results speak for themselves. Forehead lines, nasolabial folds, pore size, texture. All of it improved.

Good care means having options. If tox is not for you, that does not mean wrinkles are not treatable.

If you are in Scottsdale and want to explore what the right stack looks like for your skin, book a consultation through the link in my bio. ✨

How to read your skincare labels so you stop spending $$$ on products that don’t deliver.

Think of this as your quick ingredient cheat sheet:
⭐️ Vitamin C: Look for 10–20% for effective brightening
⭐️ Niacinamide: 1–5% is the sweet spot for calming and strengthening skin
⭐️ Retinoic Acid: 0.25–1% for visible results with consistency

Save this post before your next skincare restock. Your skin (and wallet) will thank you.

Something that genuinely surprised me about skincare culture in Japan. 🇯🇵✨

Japanese women start sun protection in their early teens, and honestly the discipline is something I deeply respect.

The consistency, the habit being passed down from mother to daughter, the fact that SPF is just part of getting dressed before they even think about skincare as a concept. It is beautiful.

Curious what you all think.

The things that actually change your skin long term. And no, it is not a new serum. 🤎

Most people spend years rotating through products looking for the thing that finally works.

The honest answer is that lasting skin change comes from two places: a consistent foundation and treatments that work with your skin's biology rather than against it.

Regenerative treatments like PRX, microneedling, and EZ Gel are not about altering your face. They are about restoring what your skin has the capacity to do on its own when given the right signal.

For melanin-rich skin especially, that approach makes all the difference because we are improving without the inflammation risk that comes with more aggressive protocols.

If you are in Scottsdale and have been looking for a more intentional approach to your skin, swipe through and save this.

Book a consultation and we can look at the right place to start. ✨

Japan taught me something I have been saying since day one. 🤎

The Japanese approach to skincare is genuinely beautiful in its simplicity. A milky emulsion or rich moisturizer, SPF from a very young age, a weekly rice bran exfoliant and sheet mask. The whole philosophy is built around minimal steps and barrier protection, and it shows.

Where it falls short for us is that I did not come across many products designed to address pigmentation or acne scarring specifically. And that gap matters for melanin-rich skin because barrier protection alone is not the full picture.

The lesson I am bringing back to Scottsdale is this: keep it simple, but make sure what you are using is actually made for your skin. Do not copy and paste a routine you saw online. Do not copy and paste mine either. ✨

Your skin deserves ingredients chosen for what it actually needs, not what worked for someone else.

DM me "Japan" and I will share what actually made the cut for darker skin.

Most people with acne scarring have already tried something. The problem was rarely their skin. 🤎

Melanin-rich skin is not harder to treat. It just requires a provider who understands what it actually responds to and what it does not. That gap in knowledge is why so many people end up with more damage than they started with.

When the approach is right, the results follow. 💉✨

If you have been patient with the wrong plan, it might be time to try the right one.

Your pregnancy safe skincare swaps, and why each one actually works. 🤎

Retinol → Matrixyl 3000
Retinol is off the table during pregnancy but your collagen still needs support. Matrixyl 3000 has over 10 randomized controlled trials showing wrinkle reduction and skin renewal. It is one of the most evidence backed alternatives available.

Hydroquinone → Azelaic Acid
Hydroquinone is not recommended during pregnancy. Azelaic acid is considered safe and still effectively targets pigmentation by interrupting melanin production at the source.

Hydroquinone → Niacinamide 5%
For redness and pigmentation together, niacinamide is a gentle but genuinely effective option that supports barrier function at the same time.

In-office Microneedling → At-home Microinfusion (my choice is Qure)

Get clearance from your OB first, but at-home microinfusion can help maintain skin quality and glow when in-office treatments are paused. ✨

Save this and send it to anyone who is pregnant and still wants to take care of their skin properly.
