Caffeine stimulates the central nervous system, which leads to a faster heart rate.

Stimulants in energy drinks causes blood vessels to constrict and the heart to work harder, which raises blood pressure. This strains heart.
3. Causes Heart Palpitations
Some people get irregular heartbeats or heart palpitations after drinking energy drink.
4. Increases Risk of heart attack
In rare cases, especially for people with underlying heart conditions, energy drinks have caused cardiac arrest and heart attacks.
5. Increases stress hormone - Energy drinks release adrenaline, which raises heart rate and blood pressure, while increasing inflammation in your heart.
6. Platelets stick together- Energy drinks make blood platelets clump together, increasing blood clots like DVT, PE, or stroke.
