The Lotus chapter is closing...and a new chapter is beginning.

Before moving to Arizona, I spent a decade managing and operating my own business in Ohio where I primarily practiced colon hydrotherapy. It was ten years of ups, downs, and purpose. I was very passionate about this work and continue to be.

I had plans to bring this work with me when I moved to Arizona, but those plans did not materialize right away. Why? One because I was in the process of healing from an anxiety disorder and two because its a different commercial/business landscape here in Arizona. One that I wouldn't label as "easy".

When Chad and I opened Lotus Evolutions in the city of Maricopa back in 2022, I leaned in on my aesthetic/skin care license/knowledge as I knew we couldn't launch a specialized service such as colon hydrotherapy in a town whose commercial real estate was not only expensive, but limited.

When we moved our business to Scottsdale, we were excited. We had new therapies to introduce, and we believed this location would finally allow us to bring colon hydrotherapy into our offered services.

Over the past year, we've worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make that vision a reality. Along the way, we've faced some unexpected challenges: plumbing challenges, construction hurdles, major financial setbacks from people we once trusted, and more delays than we ever anticipated.

There were certainly moments when it would have been easier to walk away.

But that's not who we are.

This week, I officially passed my board examination and am now a Board-Certified Colon Hydrotherapist (BCCHT). I will begin using this title proudly after many hours of study, preparation, and dedication.

As part of this evolution, Lotus Evolutions is becoming Soma Restorative Wellness—a brand that reflects our deeper focus on nervous system regulation, gut health, lymphatic flow, restorative wellness, and the body's innate ability to heal.

There will be more to come as we continue to re-brand over these next few months and introduce colon hydrotherapy into our list of offerings. I've waited a long time for this moment.
