Epsom salt, magnesium sulfate, has been shown to alleviate anxiety and improve sleep. It helps with aches and pains, whether from arthritis, injury, or illness. A new study in Neuroscience of Consciousness followed 75 people with anxiety and depression through six float sessions.

The result: a distinct altered state the researchers named “aquahenosis”, oneness with water.
