Your skin can be oily & dehydrated at the same time 🤯

When your skin is lacking water, it often tries to compensate by producing more oil, which is why stripping it with harsh products usually makes things even worse.

Instead of trying to dry your skin out, focus on adding hydration back in.

when we’re on to something new

I want to hug the girl in those first few months of pregnancy when I questioned everything. Would I be a good mother? Nurturing enough, loving enough, patient enough? Maybe this is too big of a responsibility to bare. Would PPD get me? Could I get through it? Would my marriage suffer for it? Who would I be anymore? I felt the weight of the world.

Gosh, that girl would be so proud 🥹 On the hardest days I know I’m meant to be a mom. If you’ve been through perinatal depression, if when you first got pregnant it wasn’t thoughts of rainbows & butterflies… here’s a big hug from me. You will blossom and it will be beautiful 🦋

80% of extrinsic aging comes from the sun. Please wear SPF :)

motherhood is hard. Ask for help when you need it!! Whether that be medication, a babysitter, a night to yourself, whatever

you won’t get the results you’re looking for without being consistent!! (& making sure you have the right routine for your skin)

Each parent has different pressures to support the family. Always checking in with each other to make sure everyone feels appreciated is key 🤍

It’s a highlight reel for most people which is totally ok!! Just always keep that in mind

I’m not going to lie, motivation to “create” or talk about skin has been reallllllyyy low for me. It’s been a really fun summer of prioritizing being together as a family as much as possible and tbh, that comes with a lot more chaos and feeling pretty spread thin (all feelings can co-exist)

But hey, I know life can be a little less about always being motivated and look a lot more like being disciplined (and well, the bills aren’t going to pay themselves 🤣).

What I’m coming back to: I love helping people feel more confident in their skin. I love chatting with my clients and building relationships. I love educating so people can learn about their skin and not guess.
