What would it be like to putt without sight?

At this year’s Swing for Sight Golf Tournament, players can challenge one of our clients by taking part in our Blind Putting Contest—a powerful, hands-on experience that offers just a glimpse into the daily challenges faced by people who are blind or visually impaired. This year's challenge promises to be even more impactful!

From navigating unfamiliar spaces to completing everyday tasks, vision loss impacts far more than eyesight alone. This contest builds awareness, empathy, and understanding—while supporting the vital services of the Lackawanna Blind Association.

⛳️ Step up to the challenge. Learn, laugh, and make a difference.

This Mother’s Day, we’re feeling especially grateful. These beautiful afghans were handmade by Molly Ames and Jennifer Stewart in memory of Molly’s mother, who was legally blind due to macular degeneration. What a beautiful way to honor her life while supporting the mission of the Lackawanna Blind Association.

Stay tuned—more details coming soon on how you can win one of these stunning afghans!

From all of us at the Lackawanna Blind Association, we wish a Happy Mother’s Day to every mom, grandmother, and mother figure whose love continues to inspire!
