When I left critical care nursing for aesthetic medicine, I didn’t leave behind my passion for helping people through some of the darkest and hardest seasons of their lives.
Sometimes that passion shows up through aesthetic treatments. Other times, it leads me deeper into holistic wellness and helping patients support their bodies in a different way.
For years, I had a patient whose body had been stuck in a state that honestly went beyond just survival mode. Every movement had to be consciously calculated. Walking wasn’t automatic anymore. Her days revolved around pain management, exhaustion, compression, recovery, and trying to conserve enough energy just to make it through the bare minimum of daily life.
I talked to her about stem cell phototherapy patching, and she was willing to try something new.
The patch isn’t some mythical magic fix or gimmick. It’s a tool designed to support the body’s own repair systems and natural regenerative processes already built into us. Think of it less like forcing the body to do something unnatural, and more like giving the body the communication signals it needs to function the way it was intended to.
Almost immediately, she noticed her body beginning to regain automation. Movements she had spent years consciously thinking through started happening naturally again. Step by step, her function returned. Her strength returned. Her energy returned. I was blown away, and she was stunned.
Now, 7 months later, she says she feels like a completely different person than she was before she started patching.
And honestly, stories like hers are not rare.
