Our inpatient GI APCS have been working hard in the hospital in the middle of the pandemic with working guidelines. It has been hard but we continue to stay strong.

We are sad to announce that we are cancelling the 2020-2021 Fellowship due to the COVID pandemic and the strain it has put on our healthcare system. We hope to start the application process again in January/February 2021. Thank you to all the applicants who put in all their time and effort in the application process. Welcome to the Swedish APC GI Fellowship page!

We are a one-year post-graduate fellowship. The program will provide one nurse practitioner or physician assistant who is interested in a career in gastroenterology with clinical experience and practice-based knowledge in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. The program is integrated within our growing Digestive Health Network and involves one-on-one training with physicians, surgeons and ARNPs/PA’s in gastroenterology, hepatology/liver transplant, GI oncology and GI surgery. We welcome recent nurse practitioner and physician assistant graduates and practicing nurse practitioners/PAs who wish to specialize in gastroenterology.

We started in 2016 and now going into our fourth year. The program started out as an ARNP fellowship but starting 2020 we will begin accepting PA applicants.
