Hello AFH Friends 💙
It has been a while since we updated this page, so I wanted to reconnect and share some exciting news.
Some of you may know me through the N95 fit testing, TB testing, and CPR classes I have provided at AFH since 2020. We still offer these services and will be visiting homes in Marysville and Lakewood this week. TY for your continued support!
Along the way, an AFH provider once asked me, "Do you also provide psych med management? This resident couldn't sleep and was waking up the entire home, but we couldn't get an appointment for another month." At the time, I didn’t but that question stayed with me and motivated me to pursue this path so I could help make mental health care more accessible to our AFH community.
I’m grateful to now offer psych evals, psychotherapy, and med management for children, teens, and adults 🧠💙

A little about me: I earned my Master’s and Doctoral (DNP) degrees from the University of Washington and am double board-certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health and Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, with over 22 years of bedside nursing experience (MS, ER to Inpatient Psych). I am also fluent in Tagalog and Hiligaynon.

If you (yes, burnout is real), your residents, or someone you care for is ready to prioritize their mental health, please reach out. Same‑day appointments for those in crisis may be available via telehealth.
