🖤✨ NEW FLASH DESIGNS JUST DROPPED✨🖤

All new designs! Meant to be a combo of black and gray and color. I've been really loving this style, and I've been over the moon with how many of y'all have too!

All designs are shaded how I intend them to be, but I'm always happy to adjust the color or change the color used if its your preference!

Over the 🌙 with how this piece has settled in 🖤✨️

It's still early to see how some of the details will look long-term, but I'm so incredibly thankful to for sending me this healed photo of the leopard I made for them!

I would love to book in more pieces in this style!

Sharing my favourite animal tattoos that I've done in the last year or so - I absolutely love getting to create an animal companion for my clients, especially when they can invoke so much emotion ✨️🖤

I thought I'd take a minute to share one of my favourite botanical pieces I've done!

I find botanical pieces a bit creatively challenging - a plant is already beautiful, already complex, already interesting to look at, so it feels difficult to do something new or something artistically satisfying with them.

This is where I enjoy bringing narrative into the mix! This piece incorporated two critters who are able to see each other across a meadow - so I included silhouettes of each in the other's background 😀 can you spot them?

I'm really interested in doing more botanical pieces wirh narrative attached to them! Whether that be a ladyhead, or animals included :)

Fun fact: I LOVE tattooing characters and ladyheads!

I don't get requests for these very often, so I thought I'd compile my favourites that I've gotten to do over the last year or so!

In order:
1. Jane Eyre - I admittedly have never read the book or seen any of the movies, but my client wanted to capture the undercurrent feminine rage of the character.

2. Wednesday Addams - a design from my predrawns, with a custom edit of the addition of thr classic poison bottle - I was a huge fan of Ortega's depiction of Wednesday as well as Ricci's original flawless performance, so I mixed the styles of the two!

3. Princess Ofelia - from Pan's Labyrinth, another one of my predrawn designs that I was over the moon to get to do! It also healed beautifully, and I would love to do more characters from horror stories!

4. The Girl with the Green Ribbon - the first ladyhead I did about a year back - a custom piece for a good friend who gave me creative freedom to bring the character to life.

5. Ariadne (in progress) - I can't tell you how excited I am to continue to bring this piece to life! Ariadne is a woman from Greek mythology, which has a special place in my heart, always - this client is trusting me to bring her to life as a symbol of hope.

I absolutely love getting the opportunity to bring my twist to characters from books, movies, or even a character from my own imagination to life for my clients.

I normally don't share a lot of in-progress stuff, but I am over the moon with the start on this Ariadne-inspired piece for my client, Josh!

I absolutely love being challenged artistically - creativity is a muscle that has to be exercised regularly to stay strong and to grow, and I absolutely love it when clients bring me a challenging ask - like Josh, who wanted this piece to symbolize hope amidst grief, and to fit a specific way down his whole arm.

I'm endlessly grateful to get to call tattooing my career, but what makes it all worth it is the connection I have with my clients, and with you all on here 🖤

I love how many of y'all have been messaging asking me when this is happening, but it's official --

I'm reopening my books for new clients on ✨️May 1st at 12:00pm PST ✨️

I am going to be accepting appointments for August-October, and will be booking for my guest spot June 4th and 5th.

This round, I'm offering some new options , mainly Creative Freedom full & half days at a lower rate for those of you who just want me to do my thing!

Custom tattoo proposals need to be submitted through my inquiry form, which will will be found through the link in my bio when it goes live on 5/01 @ 12PM PST. My books will remain open from May 1st - 5th.

This time around I am responding first to the proposals that most align with where I would like to focus my creative energy.

I am wanting to focus more on black and gray neotraditional with bold white or selective color elements. I enjoy occult imagery, animals/insects, botanicals, daggers/weapons, shiny things, and people!

Lil coverup action for Julia 🌼 they sat like such a champ for the elbow ditch!

I love doing coverups, big or small - they are super challenging, but soooo satisfying to both tattoo and watch the client's transformation when they see the old piece is no longer visible 😁

This client had a few laser sessions on the text piece we ended up covering, which is why this style worked for them - generally soft black and gray is not suitable for coverups, since it relies so much on the open skin to build contrast!

Have you ever had laser treatments done? I'm hoping to get some layered soon myself 😁 tell me in the comments what your experience was!
