L👀K at the exciting transformation of my lips with the same lip blush technique I offer!✨

💪🏻DAY 1: Swelling and initial color intensity were apparent, which was typical and part of the process.

🏜DAY 2: As swelling subsided, the color started to cool, and my lips started feeling dry. Mild itching had also started on this day.

💧DAY 3: The initial intensity had mellowed out, but my lips felt tight, dry, and itchy, much like a healing sunburn, except without any pain. Using my aftercare balm carefully helped soothe any mild discomfort.

🍌DAY 4: Peeling began this day and the color started lightening, but this was expected as part of healthy healing. I had to remember not to touch my lips whatsoever, even with my teeth, tongue, etc. so that the pigment could heal properly.

👄DAY 5: With most of the peeling behind me, the color has continued lightening. The outside edges will naturally slough off next.

👻DAY 6: While my lips have peeled away, seemingly taking away most of the pigment, they are actually healing perfectly and about to make a comeback!

💋HEALED: My lips had fully healed by the end of the week, getting more even and pigmented after the peeling stage. Now they are showcasing the depth and richness of the color that I had been anticipating! 😍

🤯 BEFORE: This was before any lip blush enchantments. My bare lips with a sad, faded border and wimpy peaks. 😢 A little color fixed it all in one session! My touch up appt is in Dec. and I'll show you how that goes, too! That is when the reallllly impressive stuff happens... everything will get perfected✨

HEALED!!! DAY 7: 🪄 I TOLD YOU MAGIC WAS HAPPENING! This is a trust the process kind of procedure, and as promised, we've come full circle in just a week! With all the peeling and the subtle shifts in color, my lips have now settled into their beautiful, fully-healed shade.

BUT...Did you know this is STILL not the end goal⁉️ After your first appointment, we'll immediately book your complimentary touch up appointment 6 or so weeks out. This is necessary for all cosmetic tattoo, as all skin heals differently. Shape, shade, saturation, and anything you'd like can all be adjusted once again to your liking at this follow up appointment. After that, you won't need to see me again for a couple of YEARS!! Unless of course you miss me / would like an extra pop of color at any time. 🥰

To recap my personal lip blushing experience...
✨Pain was totally bearable due to fantastic numbing cream throughout the procedure.
✨Healing was so simple and easy to deal with.
✨Not touching as lips peel takes self-control but can easily be done by applying the provided aftercare balm (+ remembering the magic that's to come!)
✨Color will go through different stages, including fading away, before settling in and revealing its true pigment and shape at the end
✨The gorgeous full shape, defined cupid's bow and peaks, and richness of the color have exceeded my expectations, making this entire process absolutely worth it!!! Would 1000000% do again and can't wait for my touch up; I feel more cute and put together on a daily basis without any effort at all!

HEALING DAY 6: With most of the peeling over with, as you can see, the color has been fading. But it's about to make a full on comeback 👏 we're talkin 2008 Britney baby!

Although I'm still loving the enhanced shape, I know it's extremely underwhelming now that everything has peeled away. But JUST WAIT...the magic is coming! 💃 The pigment is going to even out completely and really start to shine through over the next day or so, totally amplifying the richness of the color.

Come back tomorrow to see an incredible BEFORE & AFTER! I'll share my beautifully healed lips and the difference is going to pleasantly surprise you, swear!! 💖

HEALING DAY 5: 👻 I know it's a little scary...But, don't worry! As the peeling continues, the color is lightening up, hinting at the healing going on beneath. Much of the middle has now sloughed off on its own and the outer edges are now following.

It's typical for the color to fade as peeling progresses, but never fear, in the next couple of days, the pigment underneath will darken slightly to reveal its true hue.💄

What you're seeing here is natural and supposed to happen during healing on its own. Remember to moisturize with the aftercare balm I give you, but use it sparingly.💧A little shine is all you're looking for.

You're gonna wanna see the fully healed results coming soon..it will make you completely forget about this light, awkward peely stage, and you'll see exactly why I love this art so much! 😍

DAY 4: Peeling has begun! But, not to worry, it has to happen as part of the healing process and it lasts only for a short time, a few days at most. This process begins in the center and works its way outwards. Can you see how the edges still look a little darker? This will all even itself out shortly and come back more bold if you don't mess with it at all.* Thankfully, it doesn't hurt whatsoever, the itching has mostly subsided, and I can eat drink, and live pretty much as normal.

*Do not under any circumstance touch or pick at the skin as it gets flakey. I know the struggle is ✨oh so real✨ when it comes to letting it come off on its own but your lips MUST heal naturally without outside interference.

💧Sparingly use the moisturizing aftercare I provide to soothe lips when they start to feel dry/tight. A grain of rice sized dab is all it takes.
..Full disclosure, I have picking tendencies (yikes that actually sounds gross?) and I have trichotillomania, which (is different for everyone but for me) means that I pretty obsessively pull out certain hairs that feel out of the ordinary. Picking at things that feel different or out of place is difficult for me to refrain from, however, it is absolutely essential to any kind of tattoo healing that you do. not. touch!! I'm a very good girl when it comes to my cosmetic tattoos 😇 ...because you HAVE to be if you want results!

Sometimes life happens and it shifts you into a different state of being for a little while. This summer I spent almost every day at my grandpa's side. Loving on him, helping with whatever I could. Nothing else seemed to matter quite as much as being there. And I'm thankful for that time. I'm thankful for all of the years of grandpa.

You've made me feel special and loved my whole life and I hope I was able to give a little of that back. Thank you for believing in me, encouraging me, and for being proud of me. I'm blessed to have had you with me for all 31 years of my life. Every year for 30 years I got a card in the mail for my birthday. I've always looked forward to it, knowing you picked it just for me. Knowing that you think of me and remember every year is something I've held in my heart all this time. Now, I will cry every year missing you, while in my head I hear you saying "oh quit." But, I will always be sad you're not here.. and yet happy you're somewhere better. With grandma, with your family, with Pepper, Tommy, all your hunting dogs, and friends. There's so much I could say, but at the end of the day, I love you sums it all up. Every age and stage, this little girl has loved you beyond words, and I always will.

The rest of life has been on hold for a bit, and I'm okay with that. Love comes above all else, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to be present in it.

I'm currently in the process of getting back to lips, while subbing for elementary. This is the first year not being in my own classroom and it feels real weird, but I'm looking forward to using this time to expand my lip blushing horizons. I have some models who have been patiently waiting (thank you!) that I'm excited to work on. I will keep you updated here as things are happening. It's fun listening what different clients prefer and learning to make various pigment combinations to achieve just that. My bestie wanted to neutralize the purple undertone in her lips -which I personally think is so beautiful to already have naturally, but this is why I love this procedure...everyone prefers something different for themselves and it makes me so excited to be able to help get you there!

I love the way we were able to counteract the purple and achieve a brighter, warmer tone with a careful selection of pigments tailored to her desired outcome. Here, her lips are a little swollen and red directly after the procedure but they'll soon heal to a comfortable, natural tone. It's incredible how this technique can enhance one's natural beauty while offering a lasting tint.

From bare to blooming in just one session 🌺 It's amazing what a dash of carefully applied pigment can do! Transforming lips brings me so much JOY but getting to work with my best friend made this appointment even more fun! Thank you for trusting me with your cute face! 💖

Delicately tattooing a blend of custom-mixed pigments into the lips, we achieved a beautifully defined and vibrant color that enhances her (already gorgeous) natural shape.

When the healing process is complete in a few weeks, I'll provide a touch-up to make any necessary adjustments to shape or color since everyone's skin heals differently. This is standard to create a flawless finish for every client, and we'll schedule this together during your first appointment.
