A great day of education, connection, and good food! 🩵

Lions World Vision Institute recently had the opportunity to connect with the new Nurse & Trauma Education team at Morehouse General Hospital.

We shared a delicious meal of gumbo while educating the team about the Gift of Sight and the incredible impact cornea donation can have on someone’s life.

Thank you to the Morehouse General team for taking the time to learn, ask questions, and help us continue spreading awareness about the importance of eye donation.

Together, we can help bring the gift of sight to those who need it most! 👁️✨

What happens when you combine deep Tampa roots, a big heart, and an even BIGGER vision? 👁️✨

Meet Fred Lay of Construction Services Inc of Tampa — a man whose family story is woven into the history of this community.

Fred’s mother rolled ci**rs in Tampa’s historic cigar district. Today, Fred is helping build something that could change the future of vision care for generations.

He is helping bring to life Lions World Vision Institute's new 30,000-square-foot facility— a center designed to serve tens of thousands of underserved children, advance vision research, and position Tampa as a leader in the fight against childhood vision loss.

Think about that.

A family that helped shape Tampa’s past… helping build a healthier, brighter future for its children. ❤️

And THIS is what LWVI's upcoming Eye Ball 2026: Unmasking Vision is all about.

We’re shining a light on the incredible donors, visionaries and community leaders who aren’t just writing checks — they’re changing lives.

👁️ Eye Ball 2026: Unmasking Vision is more than an event. It’s a celebration of vision, generosity, and what happens when a community decides to see a bigger future.

Come be part of it.
Come meet the people making it happen.
Come help us give thousands of children the chance to see their future more clearly.

Because sometimes changing the world starts with simply helping someone see it. 👁️💙

Lions World Vision Institute is honored to be part of another successful collaboration with LifeCenter Northwest as we gathered in Seattle, Washington, this past weekend for LWVI's annual Donation Celebration. 💙💚

These meaningful events create a special space for donor families to come together—to remember and honor their loved ones, connect with others who have experienced loss, and celebrate the extraordinary gifts their loved ones gave through donation. It is incredibly moving to witness these moments of connection, reflection, remembrance, and healing.

These celebrations remind us that while donation may begin with an extraordinary act of generosity, its impact reaches far beyond that moment. It continues through the lives touched by each gift and through the families who carry their loved ones’ legacies forward.
