𝙋𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙛𝙞𝙡𝙚
A 36‑year‑old man recently lost his job and took time off to recover. During this period, he was tapering off diazepam and fully stopped in June. After stopping, he experienced anxiety with heart palpitations, extreme fatigue from even simple chores, constipation, and persistent brain fog — all common symptoms during benzodiazepine withdrawal.

𝙏𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩
He began acupuncture to support his recovery. After the first session, he went home feeling almost unable to move — a strong reaction that can happen when the nervous system is still very sensitive during withdrawal. He continued with additional sessions, allowing his body to adjust more gradually.
Treatment is ongoing.

𝙊𝙪𝙩𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚
After his 2nd and 3rd sessions, his palpitations decreased and his energy slowly started to return. Brain fog is still present, but he’s showing steady, gradual improvement as his system continues to heal.

𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐒𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐧 & 𝐊𝐢𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐲𝐬 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 (𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐈𝐈)

The Kidneys: Your Deep, Long‑Term Memory
Your Kidneys store Jing, your foundational life energy.
This foundation supports:
- 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐠‑𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐲
- 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭
- 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠
- 𝐃𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥

When Kidney energy is low, people often say they feel mentally drained or forgetful in a deeper way — not just "I misplaced my keys," but "I can’t remember things from the past like I used to."
(╭ರ_•́)
𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬
When your Spleen and Kidneys are supported, your mind feels clearer, calmer, and more grounded.
Acupuncture helps nourish both systems, which can improve focus, memory, and overall mental clarity. Your body and mind are always working together — TCM just helps us see the connection more clearly.

𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲

𝑺𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒆𝒏 & 𝑲𝒊𝒅𝒏𝒆𝒚𝒔 𝑯𝒐𝒍𝒅 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑴𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔
(𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝑰)

Did you know that in Traditional Chinese Medicine, your memories aren’t just stored in your brain?
Your 𝑺𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒆𝒏 and 𝑲𝒊𝒅𝒏𝒆𝒚𝒔 actually play a huge role in how you think, remember, and process life.

The Spleen: Your “Right Now” Memory 💾💾💾

The Spleen is all about short‑term memory, focus, and clear thinking.
When it’s strong, you feel sharp and present.
When it’s tired, you might notice:
📍 Forgetting small things
📍 Feeling foggy
📍 Overthinking or looping thoughts
📍 Trouble concentrating

It’s like your Spleen is the part of you that helps keep your mind organized in the moment.

Strengthen Your Lungs as Nature Begins to Bloom 𖤣.𖥧.𖡼.⚘

In TCM, spring corresponds to the Liver, and when Liver energy becomes too active, it can affect the Lungs and weaken immunity. This is one reason allergies often appear during this season.

Rebalance this connection through acupuncture.

🏋🏻‍♀️ 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀
Certain points can influence hormones like ghrelin and help your body respond better to leptin, so you’re not fighting constant hunger, and you're feeling full more naturally.
🏋🏻‍♀️ 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗺𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻’𝘀 𝗵𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀.
By affecting pathways connected to the hypothalamus and the vagus nerve, acupuncture can ease stress‑driven cravings and help your digestion settle into a calmer rhythm.
🏋🏻‍♀️ 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗯𝘀 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀
Using points such as ST36, ST25, CV12, and certain auricular points to improve gut function, and help curb overeating.
