Cats! I love them. They find me, even here at my Black Sea seaside hotel. I promised my new friend Elisabeth Dora that I'll continue to feed the roof cat until I leave. He is a feral cat, but well- fed and very healthy. (I met Elisabeth only yesterday, a brief spark of a friendship before she left to go back to France today).

Not even sure where to begin! We are in Cappadocia, Turkey. The landscape is other worldly.
Pictures of my beautiful yoga group. A visit to a couple who lives in a house carved out of stone. You can see us all going in. Lovely couple. Had tea with them. Went into the stone churches to see 4th century frescoes, natural colors mostly intact. Gorgeous setting!!

Ebru (paper marbling) workshop. So much fun!
Ebru paper marbling dates back to the 15th century. In Ebru, colors float, meet, and form patterns that can never be duplicated exactly the same way.
Like color floating upon water, our lives are shaped by movement, encounter, and surprise and no two people create exactly the same pattern.
In today's yoga session, inspired by the art form of Ebru, we are reminded that our yoga practice allows for personal choice rather than one perfect expression.
Namaste, Fran
