Today, we celebrate the dedication, skill, and hard work of people across every profession.

In reproductive medicine, I am especially grateful for the embryologists, andrologists, physicians, nurses, lab professionals, and entire fertility care teams whose work happens every day, often behind the scenes. Their precision, compassion, and commitment help make the possibility of parenthood a reality for so many families. 🧡

Second-to-last day on-site at CELL in Livingston, NJ! 🧬

Our CELL Scholars are getting very close to graduation, and today was all about vitrification and cryostorage, including the pearls and pitfalls that come with this critical part of the IVF laboratory. ❄️

Joe and Leandro tackled a cryosurvival troubleshooting scenario and performed a root cause analysis on the spot. What a great demonstration of the problem-solving skills these scholars are developing! 👏

Another excellent day of both classroom learning and hands-on training. It has been wonderful to watch this group grow throughout the program, and I am excited to see what comes next for them! 🧡

A BIG day at CELL! 🧬🎓

Today was another fantastic session focused on oocyte retrieval, grading, and troubleshooting. And we had some very special company in the house! American Society for Reproductive Medicine CEO Jared Robins, MD, MBA, joined us, giving us the perfect opportunity to celebrate the first graduating cohort of CELL Scholars. 🎉

Under the direction of Marina Gvakharia, MD, PhD, CELL has been an incredible success, creating opportunities to educate, train, and support the next generation of reproductive laboratory professionals.

Congratulations to our inaugural CELL Scholars! It has been such a pleasure to watch you learn, grow, and become the next generation of embryologists. Wishing you all the very best as you take the next steps in your careers! 🧡

This marks my third visit of 2026, and it is always a pleasure to be back with this dedicated team.

Excited to welcome Lourdes back and to welcome Diosmery as she joins the group.

The lab has made impressive strides this year, incorporating new equipment, streamlining protocols, and advancing toward Florida embryologist licensing. Congratulations to Endya on this important milestone! 🎉

It is truly a pleasure to work alongside such a committed and hardworking team. 🧡

I was delighted to speak at the 3rd Laboratory Management and Leadership Development Workshop in Kansas City, MO, July 31 to August 1, 2026 📍

I had the opportunity to share insights on building a Toolkit for Fighting Misinformation, an increasingly important topic for our field.

It was a fantastic experience, and I am especially grateful to Charlene Alouf, PhD, for organizing such a thoughtful and impactful program.

I was also honored to be part of an outstanding group of co-faculty: Char Learson, Glenn Proctor, MHA, Alison Bartolucci, PhD, Michael Baker, PhD, Bill Venier, MS, ELD, Tex VerMilyea, PhD, and Marlane Angle, PhD.

The lab is nearly set up, and we are looking forward to opening for patients next month.

This all-female private practice brings incredible energy, compassion, and dedication to patient care. I am so proud of the practice they have built. 🧡

My embryologists, Abbie and Marissa, are working alongside Nidhee Sachdev, MD; Fangyin Meng, MD, PhD; and Bana Kashani, MD, to provide concierge IVF services of the highest quality. 🧬

Ginny Ryan, MD, MS, is running for ASRM Director-at-Large, Publications Committee, in this summer’s election to the ASRM Board of Directors.
