Paws for Purple Hearts Seattle Tacoma These service dogs will serve their Warrior owners for the rest of their careers.

We improve the lives of America’s Warriors facing mobility challenges and trauma-related conditions such as PTSD and TBI by providing the highest quality assistance dogs and canine-assisted therapeutic programs. Under the guidance of PPH instructors and partner organization healthcare professionals, Warriors (Active Duty Service Members or Veterans) with PTSD and TBI engage with specially-bred Gol

den and Labrador Retriever puppies during therapeutic sessions that help them overcome their symptoms and reintegrate into civilian life. They help the dogs learn more than 110 commands so that when they graduate as full-fledged service dogs they can be given to Warriors who have sustained mobility-limiting injuries and/or PTSD.

At Paws for Purple Hearts, their legacy inspires us to continue serving Veterans living with PTSD, TBI, and mobility challenges through the life-changing bond of expertly trained Service Dogs. 🐾

Through our Canine-Assisted Warrior Therapy (CAWT®) program, Veterans work alongside Service Dogs in Training, finding healing, purpose, and connection while helping prepare these incredible dogs for future Veteran partners.

Today, and every day, we remember the fallen and stand beside those who served.
