Paws for Purple Hearts Seattle Tacoma These service dogs will serve their Warrior owners for the rest of their careers.

We improve the lives of America’s Warriors facing mobility challenges and trauma-related conditions such as PTSD and TBI by providing the highest quality assistance dogs and canine-assisted therapeutic programs. Under the guidance of PPH instructors and partner organization healthcare professionals, Warriors (Active Duty Service Members or Veterans) with PTSD and TBI engage with specially-bred Gol

den and Labrador Retriever puppies during therapeutic sessions that help them overcome their symptoms and reintegrate into civilian life. They help the dogs learn more than 110 commands so that when they graduate as full-fledged service dogs they can be given to Warriors who have sustained mobility-limiting injuries and/or PTSD.

Thank you to Collaborative Partners Initiative for inviting us to join the Tacoma Rotary Club #8 meeting today! 💜 Yzma had such a fantastic time meeting everyone!

She was so well-behaved that we actually had to point her out to people who approached us. She was patiently tucked under the table, waiting for her handler to give her the next command. 🐾

Yzma is making incredible progress in her training, and it’s all made possible through spreading awareness of our nonprofit. The support of our amazing community partners is invaluable and we are always so appreciative to be a part of moments like these. Partnerships help us sustain our programs, provide meaningful experiences for our Warriors, and continue giving Service Dogs in training, like Yzma, the training they need to succeed. 🌟💜

🐾Let me introduce our Paw-some team!🐾

🌟Andrew, Yayoi, and Mia are on the dog-crew. Yayoi and Andrew lovingly raise and expertly train our Service Dogs in Training. Mia helps us make sure our puppy areas are clean, safe, and taken care of.

🌟Merriah and Sue are our marketing crew. Merriah is our first point of contact for the office, whereas Sue, helps us fundraise to make our mission possible. Lisa is the Northwest site manager! She oversees WA and AK training sites and is the glue that brings us all together 💜🐾

PS: A special thank you to Original Pancake House | Best Pancakes off 6th Ave for the best pancakes in town and for allowing us to bring our Service Dog in training (Whidbey) in for his first restaurant visit. 💜
