One of the biggest misconceptions about pelvic floor therapy...

is that it only helps with pregnancy or postpartum recovery.

But trauma, chronic stress, anxiety, and emotional overload can absolutely show up physically in the body.

That’s why healing has to go deeper than just exercises.

This patient shared that her recovery wasn’t just physical...it was emotional too.

And that’s exactly why we take a holistic approach to care.

Because you are not just a pelvis.
You are a nervous system.
A human being.
A whole person carrying real experiences.

Healing should never feel rushed or transactional.

You deserve care that actually sees the full picture. 💛

If you’ve been struggling with symptoms that nobody has been able to connect the dots on, there is a plan forward.

“It feels like I’m hitting a wall.”

That sentence alone tells me SO much about what your pelvic floor might be doing.

A lot of women with vaginismus or pelvic floor tightness can WANT

intimacy…
be aroused…
feel safe…
and STILL feel completely blocked.

Why?

Because tight pelvic floor muscles don’t create space.

They guard.

And the more you push through pain, the stronger that guarding response becomes.

In this video, I explain:
✅ Why pe*******on feels blocked
✅ What “hitting a wall” actually means
✅ Why deeper pelvic floor muscles matter
✅ Why forcing it makes symptoms worse

A lot of women prepare for pelvic exams the same way they prepare for a stressful work presentation...

Mentally brace.
Disconnect from their body.
Get through it as fast as possible.

That should tell us something.

Pelvic exams may be routine for providers…

but they are NOT routine for your nervous system.

Especially if you’ve experienced:
➡️ pelvic pain
➡️ painful s*x
➡️ vaginismus
➡️ medical anxiety
➡️ feeling dismissed in healthcare

Your body tightening during an exam is not you being dramatic.

It’s protection.

You are allowed to:
✔️ ask questions
✔️ ask providers to slow down
✔️ take breaks
✔️ advocate for your comfort

Women deserve pelvic healthcare that feels safe, informed, and respectful.

Not something they silently survive.

Your menopause “back pain” might not actually be coming from your back. 👀

Hormonal changes can affect tissue elasticity, recovery, and pelvic floor muscle function...

and those muscles connect directly into the hips and lower spine.

So the pain feels like:
✨ tightness
✨ stiffness
✨ aching that never fully goes away

The body isn’t falling apart.
It’s recalibrating.

And most high-achieving women push through symptoms for way too long before realizing pelvic health may be part of the picture.

You deserve answers before pain becomes your “new normal.”

One of the biggest myths around painful pe*******on?

“That it’ll just go away if you wait long enough.”

Because this isn’t always about “tight muscles.”

It’s often about a nervous system that learned:
“This does not feel safe.”

So your pelvic floor responds automatically.
Clenching.
Guarding.
Bracing.
Avoiding.

The good news?
Protection patterns can change.

With the right support, education, nervous system work, and pelvic PT approach, your body can relearn safety.

And no...
wine is not the treatment plan.

You bought the dilators. You followed the instructions.
You stayed “consistent.” …So why are you still stuck?

Because dilators are a TOOL.

And most women are never taught the SYSTEM that actually makes them work.

If you’re a high-achieving woman who’s used to figuring everything out on your own, this can feel incredibly frustrating.

You don’t need more discipline.
You don’t need “better” dilators.
And you definitely don’t need to blame yourself.

What you *do* need is a roadmap that explains:
✨ Why your body is responding this way
✨ How to use dilators correctly for YOUR body
✨ What's missing from the process
✨ HOW to finally make progress without feeling broken or defeated

That’s exactly what I’m teaching in my upcoming FREE 15-MINUTE EXPERT CHAT SESSION.

🗓️ Date: Friday, May 19, 2026
⏰ Time: 12 noon PST

We’re breaking down the step-by-step system that goes WITH the dilators you already have...

so you can stop spinning your wheels and finally feel confident in your healing plan.

You checked every box.

✅Good grades.
✅Successful career.
✅People-pleasing.
✅Holding it all together.

But nobody taught you what happens when your nervous system lives in constant pressure mode.

I see this pattern all the time in high-achieving women struggling with pelvic pain, tension, burnout, bladder symptoms, painful s*x, and chronic tightness.

Because the body doesn’t separate stress from physical symptoms.

When perfectionism, pressure, anxiety, control, and chronic stress build up over time…

the pelvic floor often absorbs the impact.

Healing isn’t about becoming “better” at pushing through.
It’s about finally feeling safe enough to stop.

💛 Hole health is whole you.
