Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a light, rhythmic massage technique designed to support the movement of lymph fluid through the body. It is commonly used to help reduce swelling and fluid retention, and facial lymphatic drainage may help decrease puffiness while supporting a brighter, refreshed appearance.

Lymphatic drainage during your facial:

Mental Health Awareness Month is a reminder that emotional wellness is deeply connected to the body.

Stress can appear as tight shoulders, jaw tension, headaches, shallow breathing, fatigue, poor sleep, and a sense of being unable to fully rest. Massage offers a supportive space to slow down, soften physical tension, and reconnect with the body.

Research has linked massage therapy with reductions in state anxiety, blood pressure, and heart rate. Other studies have explored massage therapy as a supportive approach for symptoms of depression and anxiety, while noting that more research is needed.

At Banya 5, massage can be paired with contrast hydrotherapy for a deeper mind-body reset. Arrive early to warm up in the sauna, steam room, and hot pool, move through cold plunge, and allow your body to soften before your service.

This is not a substitute for therapy or medical care. It is a body-based wellness ritual that may support rest, regulation, and reconnection.
