We just added two classics 😎 Only available in store or via text!
I wanted an oil cleanser without the exfoliation (Botanical B Cleansing Oil is great but not for everyone) and a gentle powder enzymatic exfoliant that's safe to use on a daily basis for clients with acne, sensitive skin and rosacea (Exfoliating Polish by Zo is amazing, but not for our barrier impaired bb’s. Introducing (or reintroducing) Precleanse + Daily Microfoliant by Dermalogica🧖🏼♀️
Precleanse💕
An oil-based cleanser that melts SPF, makeup, sebum, and pollution off the skin without stripping the barrier. Apricot kernel, rice bran, borage seed, and kukui oils dissolve everything the day puts on your face. This smells like a traditional relaxation spa. Massage onto dry skin, add water to emulsify, rinse.
A note: oil cleansers aren’t strictly required especially when you're double cleansing with Prelude Cleanser or Simply Clean, but oil cleansers can be great for removing makeup or as a first cleanse.
Daily Microfoliant ✨
The hero. A rice-based exfoliating powder that activates the moment it hits water. Rice bran and papain enzyme dissolve dead cells. Salicylic acid clears congestion. Licorice and grapefruit brighten and even tone. This doesn't have much if a smell, but it also doesn't smell good. If you want an olfactory experience, combine with Prelude Cleanser (citrusy and light). Smoother, brighter, decongested skin in 60 seconds, no irritation, no downtime.
Pour a teaspoon into wet palms, work into a creamy paste, massage onto damp skin for 60 seconds, rinse. Safe for daily use.
Best for dullness, congestion, blackheads, uneven tone, rough texture, post-acne marks, flaky skin and sensitive skin that can’t tolerate stronger acids.
Where it fits:
Your second or third cleansing step, morning and night. Always first, before anything else touches the skin. Rinse well! Shower use only recommended as the tiny grains like to hang around.
