My daughter starts kindergarten today and wanted to ride the bus 🚌, my brave little girl! I followed her to take pictures at school, just like my mom did for me. I still remember that day. I am feeling allllll the feelings as my last baby starts school. Will she be ok?! 😭

The days are long but the years are short. 🩷

Cultural differences that made me realize I love America, lol!! Dryers (I have a new respect for people who hang dry every piece of clothing, every sock), air conditioning, bulk shopping at Target and Costco, ice cold drinks and my fave garden 🍃 seltzers by Cycling Frog!

I’ve tried dozens of garden seltzers and theirs are among the best for affordability, flavor, fast onset time and giggly buzz! I wish these were more easily accessible in other countries but so grateful to have access to great swaps for the booze here in the states.

Their flavors are incredibly delicious, low sugar, they have one of the fastest onset times to relax with and no hangovers the next day. They are also some of the most affordable on the market and are committed to making 🫖 hc accessible to all.

You can save on top of any sale or order Cycling Frog by stacking code “SoberishMom.” Cheers!!

The looks I got when I asked for nonalcoholic wine 🤣.

I asked for a nonalcoholic wine or zero proof cocktail at more than a dozen different restaurants on this trip and the answer was always some version of… nope. Nada. Não. 🍷🚫

Which honestly surprised me! For places where wine is such a huge part of the culture, I thought I’d stumble across at least a few good NA options.

The good news? NA beer was MUCH easier to find, and I had some really good ones. 🙌 So I definitely wasn’t stuck drinking water all night. I also saw n/a mojitos a lot of places which was mint, lime and sprite so an ok substitute.

Would this stop me from coming back? Absolutely not, we’ve had the most incredible time. It’s just interesting to see the cultural differences since zero proof cocktails and wine are becoming so incredibly popular in the USA.

Have you seen nonalcoholic wines or cocktails out at restaurants lately? 🥂
