This weekend, Stride Physio had the privilege of hosting the APTA Washington Board of Directors for our annual strategic planning retreat.
As both the owner of Stride Physio and President of APTA Washington, I am fortunate to see firsthand how closely patient care and professional advocacy are connected. While most of our days are spent helping people recover from injury, stay active, and return to the activities they love, we also believe in investing in the future of physical therapy. By supporting excellence in our profession and advocating for better access to care, we can better serve the patients and communities who depend on us.
Over two days, volunteer leaders from across Washington came together to review member feedback, refine our mission, vision, and values, and set priorities around advocacy, education, and community engagement. These efforts help ensure that physical therapists continue to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care and that patients have access to the services they need to live active, healthy lives.
We are proud that Stride could provide the space for these important conversations and grateful to the dedicated leaders working to strengthen our profession.
At Stride, our commitment extends beyond the walls of our clinic. Whether we're helping a patient reach a movement goal, advocating for better access to care, or helping shape the future of physical therapy in Washington, our focus remains the same: empowering people to move better, feel better, and live fuller lives.
