Hello all!
I'm hosting a meditation and sound bath featuring singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and ocean drumming on May 19th at the Hanna Barn from 7p-8:30p. This will be followed by a nettle tea ceremony to close.
For our event schedule ~
We will spend a 20 minutes sitting with Nettle and meditating (which I'll bring - but of course we won't touch), immerse in a 60 minute sound bath, and close with short tarot readings and nettle tea.
So what is a plant sit? ~
It's a meditation where we are in communion with plants. This is all about building a heart connection with our environment - tuning into our perception and what we have to learn from nature.
Nettle is an ancient plan capable of both heating and cooling. It is a Mars-ruled plant, and thus its sting.
Energetically, nettle medicine is known for teaching how to cool down when we're hot headed and how to approach something in a manner where we don't lose our temper.
It also warms the soul and helps you embrace your passions.
In this way it is both emotionally heating (sympathetic to Mars) and cooling (antipathetic) in one plant - plant intelligence often allows us to have both results.
Physically, its affinities and actions are: warming and cooling, detoxification, tonifying, and pain reduction.
It's a mineral-rich, nutrient-dense spring tonic. It supports the kidneys, urinary tract, and bladder.
You can register here ~
The event is priced on a sliding scale of $20-$40
