🌿 When was the last time you sat still long enough to notice the world around you?

A Sit Spot is a place you return to regularly to sit quietly, observe, and reconnect with the living world.

A patch of forest. A favorite tree. Your backyard. A park bench.

The magic is in the relationship built by returning. ✨

Over time, you begin to notice what you once overlooked. Patterns emerge. Your senses sharpen. Familiar places reveal something new.

And somewhere along the way, you begin to notice more within yourself too.

I’ve put together a new guide to the Sit Spot practice on Substack, including a printable Sit Spot Journal PDF for paid subscribers to help you deepen your practice and track what you discover. 🌱

📖 Stay tuned: A companion e-book is coming

🐾 What is tracking?

Tracking is the art of reading the stories written into the landscape.

A footprint in the dirt. A broken twig. Disturbed soil. S**t, feathers, and subtle shifts in the environment.

Every sign offers a clue. Together, they reveal who passed through, what happened, and what might happen next.

Tracking teaches us to slow down, sharpen our senses, recognize patterns, and see a world that’s always been there—waiting to be noticed. 🌿

The landscape is speaking. Do you know how to read it?

Paradox - two seemingly contradictory ideas can both contain truth at the same time.

To be deeply grounded and open to mystery.
To trust your intuition and question your assumptions.
To honor ancient wisdom and stay curious about what we’re still learning.
Awareness that leaves room for complexity.

The deepest wisdom lives in the both/and. 🌿✨

Funny how we casually accept invisible signals when we call them Wi-Fi and Bluetooth…

…but mention “energy” or “vibes” and suddenly everyone wants a peer-reviewed paper. 😂

We live surrounded by invisible fields, signals, frequencies, and information.

Maybe curiosity is a better starting point than dismissal.

You can’t see everything that’s real. 📡✨

What’s the point of building a life if you don’t get to live it?
Freedom is having enough space to hear your own voice. To follow your curiosity. To change direction.
To spend your time in ways that actually feel like yours. 🌿✨
