YOU ARE ENOUGH!

When listening to music 🎶 does the perfect song you need to hear ever come on? It did for me this morning. On our way to church "You Say" by Lauren Daigle came on. To say I needed to hear this song today is an understatement. God knew I needed to hear it 🙏 so the first song that played on the Amazon Top Christian station this morning, was "You Say".

Why did I need to hear 👂 it? Because I have been feeling like I am not enough. 😔 We all have these thoughts. I'm not a good enough wife, mother, friend, daughter, or whatever else pops into our head. But, you know what? We are enough. 🙌 God reminds us that we are enough. He is the only perfect one. We are enough when we accept him into our lives, follow him and love him.

Always remember, even when you don't feel like you are enough, YOU ARE. God loves you for who you are. ❤

Dreams. We all have them, but some of us choose to follow them and do whatever it takes to make them come true.

For some this may be their dream job, to be debt free, to travel, to spend more time with family, etc. We all have our one (or more) dream(s). No dream is better than another, just different.

I myself want to be able to spend more time with my family, not miss or be late for any extracurricular activities or school functions my children have, travel, be debt free, and eventually be able to run my husband’s dream business and my business full time while supporting my family. Right now these look like God-size dreams to me, but that’s ok. Why? Because with God on my side and hard work, these God-sized dreams can and will come true. Maybe not today or tomorrow, but eventually they will.

So, what are your dreams? Whether small (in your opinion) or God-sized all of our dreams are important, so chase after them.

Bad decisions/life choices. You know, we all have things we say if we could go back in time to change them we would. But, if we had the opportunity, should we?

I have thought about this a LOT. Why because I have made some decisions in my life that I knew were wrong, but yet I still did them. For me, it was nothing illegal, thank goodness. But, they were still decisions I knew I shouldn’t make. Do I regret them? Not anymore. Why, you may ask. Because if I hadn’t made these decisions/life choices, I wouldn’t be who I am or where I am today. Yes, I knew better. But, what is the great thing about the choices I made? God used them to reach me, teach me, redirect me, and use me how he needed to. If I hadn’t done these things, I wouldn’t be blessed with the most amazing husband, two beautiful children, know God the way I do, or have met some of the most amazing framily (friends that have become family).

So, if you have made any bad decisions/life choices or are in the mist of one, DON’T GIVE UP. These can be used to form you into the person you are meant to be, point you to the life you are meant to lead, and hopefully bring you to the Lord if you haven’t already asked Him into your life. Does this mean go out and made bad decisions/life choices just to make them? No! Just look forward to what is coming and what you can do with what you learned. How can you use what you have learned to help others?

Growing up, I was constantly told how fat I was. My weight would go up and down constantly. The part that hurt me the most, was that it was mainly family that told me this. This caused a LOT of self esteem issues and self hatred for many years. What changed my thinking? Finding the Lord. When I was saved and started realizing the love God has for us and that he made us how he wanted, I realized that yes all the negative words I had been told my entire life hurt but He is so much bigger and he made me bigger than those hurtful and painful words. Do I still have days that those words creep into my thoughts? Yes, everyday. But, by finding the love that God has for me, I can overcome the negative thoughts.

What are hurtful thoughts you have problems overcoming? We all need to show each other love, not hate and hurtfulness.

I started the MAcc program at MSSU this week. Yes, I feel like I'm may be crazy. Because now I have my business, being Mommy to my two boys (this includes them being in sports 🙃), working full time at MSSU, and everything else we normally have going on. So, I got a Crockpot Express Cooker (similar to Instant Pot) that is also a pressute cooker, slow cooker, steamer, rice cooker, etc to help me be as able to prepare healthy meals more quickly. However, now I need some yummy ideas for meals to cook. So, what are your favorite pressure cooker and slow cooker recipes???

Well, Monday is over...yay!!! I usually like Mondays because it starts a new week, but yesterday was crazy so I'm glad it's over. So, bring on Tuesday. After yesterday, today is a day to throw my hair in a bun, and not do my makeup. I'm very thankful for great skincare that keeps my skin healthy which gives me confidence to not need to feel that I have to wear makeup.

Going to have lunch with a girlfriend then running a few errands on this gorgeous Friday. I think the high is supposed to be mid 90's with a great index of around 105. 🔥🔥🔥 What are you doing this gorgeous day?

I decided to not wear any makeup today. So, after I d I'd my hair, Edward decided he needed to do my makeup for me. So, he took one of my brushes and did my invisible makeup. I love how much he supports aand loves me. 😊🤩😍
