Alicia is moving on to a new job soon and she wanted to step up her jewelry game to something a bit more sparkly, dainty, and professional. She had one of the marquises you see in her second lobes in her nostril so we just moved it to a lobe and added a second one for the other side and we swapped the small cz from her upper helix to the nostril. Threadless jewelry makes switching things up a piece of cake! We also added some round prong set gems to her thirds and upgraded her double helix to some fresh hoops and added 3 new piercings with matching jewelry to her thirds to her right flat and helix. What a cool way to celebrate a new job!

✨ Wedding jewelry stylings have my whole heart. 💖

Erica wanted something whimsical and romantic for her wedding day, so we pulled inspiration directly from the leafy details in her dress to curate her conch and daith. 🌿 We incorporated the opal studs gifted to her by her fiancé after he proposed, then elevated them with a double chain connecting her first and third lobes which feature a 3 marquise opal leaf top. In her second lobes, I installed bezel set green natural stones for the perfect earthy pop of color. Getting to help someone feel beautiful for such a special moment in their life is one of the best things about this job. ✨

Sometimes it’s not just about the piercing.

She didn’t come in with a plan—just pointed to this area and said she wanted something.
As we talked, I chose this piece: three hearts. Two the same, one a little different.

Simple… but intentional.

Piercing can be more than aesthetic.
It can be a release, a reset, a quiet way to hold meaning without explaining it to anyone.

And sometimes, it’s a boundary.
Loving yourself enough to choose what becomes part of you.

Kimberly has been a client of mine at not one, not two, but THREE of the studios I have worked at. When I tell you giving her ears this glow up was one of the most rewarding things I’ve done in my career, it’s no exaggeration.

Kimberly used to have stretched lobes over 1.5 inches, but after an incident it was time to let them go. Over two years ago, she had her lobes reconstructed. I had the privilege of re-piercing her first and second lobes last week and we gave everything else a quick revamp while we were at it. We rearranged a few existing pieces and downsized and swapped out some for some fresh designs. I think the mixed metals and chains are my favorite elements.

I had so much fun working on this client’s ear. Unique anatomy makes this job all the more interesting. Every ear has its own blueprint. When jewelry follows those lines, everything feels harmonious. When it doesn’t, something feels “off,” even if you can’t explain why. Mastering that is where piercing stops being a service and becomes art and where I get to let my creativity shine.

We have future plans to add a third conch in the center of these and eventually upgrade it to a hoop (or maybe even a delicate chain from front to back. Thank you! 💖

Two vertical helixes, styled two completely different ways.

A gold 3-marquise fan for something delicate and subtle.

And a 5-marquise fan, perfectly centered inside a faux industrial to fill that open space and tie everything together.

Vertical helixes are one of my favorite ways to add something unexpected without overcrowding the ear.
