Fix one dedicated place for our daily meditation practice, establish a strict schedule, and follow it diligently. Eventually, both the place and the time become anchors to remind us of our meditation. It’s a lot easier to train our mind and body to meditate if we can get into a rhythmic and regular practice routine.

Get creative about location. Yes, it’s recommended that our regular meditation practice happens in the same place every day for consistency. But sometimes that simply isn’t possible. The great thing about meditation is that it can be practised anywhere — at home, at work, in a park, even walking in a busy airport. It doesn’t matter where it happens, as long as we can find stillness and not be disturbed.
